Q: How to set up Foscam cameras working with Amazon's Alexa?

Dear Sind, thanks for your inquiry. 1. Please make sure the Alexa app is installed on your cellphone. 2. Please open the Foscam app and go to Account-->Alexa. 3. Please choose the Alexa and tap on Link. 4. Then the Alexa app all will be opened automatically and please tap on LINK. 5. Then you can choose the option “DISCOVER DEVICES” to add Foscam camera to the Alexa app or speak “Alexa, discover devices” to the Echo show directly. 6. After camera is added to the Alexa app, you can speak directly to the Echo show to get the camera’s live stream shown up by voice command. If any questions, please feel free to contact us via Amazon message or support@foscam.com

Q: So if this doesn’t work with 5G how do i know if i have 2.4g ??

Dear customer,The most reliable way to determine the band of wifi is to log into your router and check it in the settings. Or using an Android phone computer, connect it to this wifi and check the wifi band in the network properties.

Q: Will this work on an Unsecured wireless network? (One that does not require a password to use the wifi)
