Origin8 Pro-Torq Space Off Road MTB Handlebar

In trying to find bars with a sweep back one compares the degrees of sweep. Salsa makes two bars one with 17 and another with about 23 degrees of back sweep. It is hard to get a picture or specks of these bars online. Here is what I was looking for: They are 31.8mm stem size with a 35 degree bend (measured from a straight line across the stem, ignoring the forward bend). This seems like a bit much, but they were half the price of the Salsa bars, and to me they feel fine.There is a striking ovalized bulge on both sides of the stem, the bars look like a wing. Strong and unusual looking. They seem like a good value at $40, they have a high-end feel and look.They are narrower than the stock bars on my "all-mountain" bike, but I like them. I like the form and quality for the price. Not installed yet, but nice out of the box.

The rise is OK but the taper of the bars is too much in my opinion for my mountain bike. probably would be fine on a cruiser bike.

I bought these for my wife's fat bike after she complained of wrist pain on rides of 20 miles or more. Surprisingly these bars solved the problem. She absolutely loves them. They are really good quality. The matte finish with the somewhat subtle logos look great.Update 8/2019:I tried these bars out and they felt so foreign I didn't think I liked them but once I got used to them I fell in love with them. I ran them on my Giant Toughroad SLR. It gave me an awesome upright riding position. So I decided to try them on my Trek Xcaliber mountain bike trying to imitate the feel of a Jones bike. Success! But now these bars are unavailable on Amazon so I'm trying to find a set elsewhere.

Great bars at a fair price

The Handlebar was lighter than I thought it would be, it says that its Mountain Bike rated only time will tell. What I really like is the position of the bars it puts your arms and hands in a much more conformable position you don't have to lean forward as much. I installed them on my wife's and mine Diamondback mountain bikes. We can still stand and peddle the bikes they feel just as stable to me. I can still ride with no hands if I want to so the bike has stayed balanced. We took the bikes on a 6 mile ride right away it felt a lot more comfortable. I jokingly asked my wife if she wanted me to put the flat bars back on and she replied. "No Way!" I have done quit a bit of off road riding I think the handle bar will work just fine for off road riding. I plan on putting this handlebar on my exercise bike as well.

These bars are perfect for alleviating hand numbness and wrist pain. This is my second pair, one on my mountain bike and one on my city/urban bike. I can now pedal for miles w/o any numbness in my hands! The bar rise and sweep back is not to extreme, just the right amount, and the bends in the bars are over sized making these bars extremely stiff. If you have hand pain these bars are what you should get.

Really happy with these bars on my MTB. At 66, many of my joints aren't as limber as they once were. These bars relieve the strain I was feeling on wrists, neck and shoulders and allow for a slightly more upright position resulting in less weight on my hands. Control is just as good as with wider flat bars.
