Excellent B450 motherboard in ITX form!
So. Other 450 motherboards often have limited functionality compared to their 470 counterparts, such as overclocking memory or processor, and lots of little features.Asrock have bucked this trend and given you almost every feature possible on this board shy of very specific features that need the X470 chip. So its very good value for money. And well built too, I'm impressed. Its not overtly "gamer" either, its quite subdued and no RGB in sight - which is a plus in my eyes.Contents of the box are rather limited in comparison to say an Asus X470, you get a basic IO plate, a few cables and the wifi antenna and that's you it. But at the end of the day, its a hell of a lot cheaper.Performance wise, I've had zero issues with a Ryzen 5 2600. Everything worked, clean install of windows and then install of latest drivers for chipset (and gpu too) from AMDs site and we were cooking with gas. My Trident Z RAM clocked straight to 3200Mhz without issues.Happy with Asrock as always having used many of the boards for various other builds too. Delivery was fast and well packaged.

Decent board
Purchased to pair with a Ryzen 2600 in a nzxt h200 case. From a feature standpoint this is the best mini itx b450 board available in my opinion. It has 3 fan headers whereas most in this form factor only have two. I have used all 3 in my build, 1 to power my gamerstorm captain ex 240aio water block, then an akasa pwm splitter off each of the other 2 headers, giving me 2 intake fans ( attached to the aio radiator) and 2 exhaust fans. This case also has support for both 12v and 5v RGB headers, which I have used. The polychrome software controls all of the RGB in my system and is simple to use. This board also has usb 3.1 gen 2 usb portsI did however have some memory issues. Using the budget Team group Vulcan 3000mhz 16gb ram, I was unable to run them any faster than 2400mhz, enabling XMP profiles resulted in crashes and instability, as did manually entering speeds higher than 2400. I replaced these with Hyper X Predator 3200mhz RGB sticks, with these I could enable XMP and they ran stable at the full 3200 MHz.Overclocking has been good however I have only overclocked 4.1 GHz at 1.3 volts, which is perfectly stable.

Excellent Little Board
I was in the market for a new motherboard and was struggling to find a m-atx board with all the features I wanted. The someone mentioned the Gigabyte B450-I AORUS PRO WIFI and Asrock B450 Gaming-ITX/AC. They both come ALC1220 audio (not ALC892 like most other boards I looked at), Intel LAN (rather than Realtek) and Wi-Fi. You are limited to a single full speed PCI-E slot, two RAM slots and one M.2 slot but that was never going to be an issue for me.I went with the ASRock in the end as I heard about potential VRM noise on the Gigabyte. The board is tiny! Like really, really small. I'd never used an mini-itx form factor board before and it looks laughably small in my hands. The I installed it in an m-atx Fractal Design Mini C and it swallowed it with acres of room to spare.Everything installed fine, all extras like the rear IO shield and mounting screws were present and correct and I was up and running in no time. I'm running stable with a Ryzen 5 2600 @4GHz and G.Skill 16GB RAM @2933MHz. Also with the quiet fan technnology the case fans don't even bother to turn on when I'm general PC tasks, web browsing, etc.So far so good so why only 4 stars? Well the instuction manual isn't the best if I'm honest and the lack of another fan header meant an additional fan splitter cable was required. I would still recommend this motherboard for anyone in the market at this price point overall.

Perfect for living gaming - why waste cash on an Intel Hades!
Wanted a media centre for living gaming. Considered Intel Hades top end model with Core i7-8809G and RX Vega M GH. That was around £900 excluding RAM and storage, i.e. motherboard, CPU, graphics card, case and PSU. This motherboard is perfect for cost effective Ryzen CPUs. I paired the Asrock B450 ITX with a Ryzen 5 1600 and GTX 1060 3G which beats the latest Intel Hades in terms of CPU and graphics processing power! Adding a Corsair Gold standard 650W modular PSU which I purchased off Amazon, and a suitable mini ITX case which Amazon has plenty, you get a media centre gaming PC at around half the price in comparison to the latest Intel Hades, but with more CPU and graphics processing power all paired with the Asrock B450 ITX motherboard! This also worked with Corsair CMK16GX4M1D3000C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (1 x 16 GB) DDR4 3000MHz C16 XMP 2.0 High Performance Desktop Memory which I purchased from Amazon. The motherboard also maintained good temperatures and includes the the Realtek ALC1220 Audio Codec supporting Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 5, i.e. you do not need a separate sound card as this can be considered top end on-board sound!

Good itx gaming motherboard
Plugged in, WiFi recognised by fresh win 10 install, so made downloading the other drivers a doddle. Paired with a ryzen 3 and a gtx 960 it's quite a capable gaming pc. Very happy. Only slight criticisms are the cost is quite high, and the audio connector is towards the rear (actually next to the rear audio connector) making the cable run a bit inelegant.

Works headlessly with Ryzen 3 4100
This board works headlessly with Ryzen 3 4100 (cheapest new Ryzen I could find, it has an integrated GPU alongside the CPU, but the GPU is factory disabled), so this board could be perfect for low power but performant builds that don't need any video output, although you will need a temporary video card for OS installation.Three stars because all of these new boards support TPM 2.0
