HEX Rival Controller 2 Paddle & Interchangeable Thumbsticks & Fast Shoot for Customized PS5 Controller FPS Gamepad

Now before i say anything i wanna make it clear that by no means is this a “Bad” controller its solid and real feeling with great grip and textures none of that cheap plastic 3-rd party garbage its 100% a great controller for casual gaming and offline play!however when it comes to online multiplayer in your favorite fps. This controller “in my opinion” is not up to snuff. This controller has a fair bit of stick drift meaning at times the joysticks themselves sometimes seem to have a mind of their own…its not terrible. Honestly for “casual players” they wouldn’t even notice it. But if you’ve been playing video games since 2008 and are into more serious gaming i’d recommend just buying external paddles to use on a licensed controller!(Tested on Apex Legends, Call of duty mw3(next gen) ,Rainbow six siege, and Helldivers)

It's a pricey piece of kit no doubt, but it definitely is built well and does everything it is advertised to do. Of course it absolutely has to, given the investment serious gamers are looking to make with this purchase. The ergonomics are great, the back paddles feel sturdy, stable, and clicky just like you would hope. Remapping buttons is easy to do with the included instructions, and doesn't require any crazy third party pay app to accomplish using this feature. The textured handle grips are a nice touch if you want that option. Really makes loosing your grip on the controller something you'll never really have to worry about again. D-pad and buttons are all nicely textured and performed well, the "hair triggers" are great for games like Battlefield and Call of Duty since they reduce the travel distance significantly over the OEM Sony controller. However, these "hair triggers" would not best ideal to use in other games like racing games or anything where more slow and precise inputs are required for the L2 & R2 buttons.Changing out the thumbsticks is incredibly simple with this controller, and it does come with a nice bit of variety of optional choices. My one complaint with this controller, would be the material these thumbsticks are made from. It to me just feels less grippy in texture than the OEM controller thumbsticks. If I were to suggest anything be changed, a more textured grippy material be used in the manufacturing of the thumbsticks is what I would offer as advice to the vendor for improvements.

Great product

I purchased a controller from HEXGAMING less than eight months ago, and it has already failed. Despite their advertised lifetime warranty, they refused to honor it. At first, they acted like they were going to help—asking a few questions and pretending to communicate—but then completely stopped responding.This is unacceptable and misleading. If you value your money and expect any level of support, I highly do not recommend HEXGAMING. Stay away.

My son was excited to get this for Christmas! He's rough on his controllers so I told him if he breaks this one he'll have to get a job in the coal mines because this plastic is expensive!

Ive had this controller for 8 months and now the R1 button is broke. Which makes the forth time ive had to contact Hex for issues. First the right paddle broke. Then broke a second time after they sent me the parts to fix it. Then the R2 button broke and had to send the controller off to get a replacement. Which it took a month and half to get a controller back. Now this. Not worth the money at all. Cheaply made

This controller rules, however, the battery life could be a bit better. I can’t crush kids all day with only one controller. The lack of ability to slay ALL DAY is the only knock. I still get a solid 6-8 hours of schooling noobs before we need a charge, but 12 hours of dominating would be supreme. There are too many little babies running their mouths, and with this controller, I can remind them, they are nothing. “Get better kid”. Well I did, and now you’re crying. Thanks HEX.
