Good value for money
I need them to add a HDMI port to my old (ish) MacBook Pro and decided to go for something that would give me even more options. It does just that and works very well.

Just Plug and Play, Works Great, Good Quality
Needed something simple to convert a mini display port into HDMI (but have the added bonus of DVI or VGA) should I wish to use another monitor. Pretty simple device, just plug straight into your PC, no drivers or bloated software to install, straight connection, plug HDMI from one end into another, and job done. Displays Full HD perfectly!

Items like this are a Godsend when you need to connect your work laptop to an old style PC monitor for a more comfortable screen image. Very much recommended for anyone in that position.

apple have now got hd outlet no need for this rubbish any more
lasted longer than the last piece of rubbish I bought , these things are made to break that is why apple have had to put hd outlets on there newer computers , it was a pure set up .

Excellent for adding 4K screens to my iMac
I have an iMac 27” 2015 and have two additional screens attached using two of these adapters, converting the FireWire/mini display port connections to HDMI. I get 4k full resolution on both screens and I think the refresh rate is 30hz which is fine for me watching videos and editing code. There’s no gaming requirements for what I do with my iMac so this refresh rate is fine. You’d want more if gaming.
