Spyder Women's Cotton Legging - Soft High Waisted 4-Way Stretch Wide Waistband Ankle Jersey Legging (Sizes: S-3X)

These are great leggings. They are cotton, so don’t fit or feel like the knit polyester leggings do, but fit much, much better. They don’t cling, yet fit closely. They don’t pill, but they have great stretch. They are wonderful…leggings that don’t look like the leggings I would never wear in public, but are seen everywhere. Look, I’m 61 and remember when one wore leggings (or stirrup pants) only with tops that covered everything. So, I’m not even a little bit of a fan of the current ubiquitous leggings wear made popular by influencers and yogis everywhere. However, I wear these in public. I sized up for a looser fit, and love them. Love them.

FIT GREAT

I'm 5'8", 130lbs, with 34" hips and a 26" waist. A medium pair of these leggings fits great and they did not shrink in the wash. They are VERY tight in the legs and long, but I'm tall and thin so they fit well.The waist fits exactly as I like. The waistband rests against the skin but does NOT put any pressure. My abdominal area is very sensitive to pressure and I have issues with other leggings, but these are perfect. I do know, however, that is not how most people like their waistbands, they prefer at least a little pressure. These give none on me and there is no way to adjust the waist.These washed well the first time and did not shrink but the cotton fabric is of the quality that makes me think it will start pilling after the fourth or so wash, so they aren't super high quality. For the price I think they're worth the buy and I'm very happy with having leggings that don't bother my stomach!

Low quality and disappointing item,Not spyders typical standards

I'm not sure how these have any negative reviews, I just love these leggings! No, not every legging fits every body but that's not the leggings fault. I wanted a cotton, sporty legging, prefer higher waisted, these did not disappoint. The cotton blend material is thinner but substantial enough for anything but winter, it's soft but stays put. I got a 2x and these are true to size (I'm between 2-3x but losing weight so chose to size down, glad I did). I'm pear shaped but these stayed up, the waist isn't super high, more like a "medium-high" waist (maybe higher on you if your tummy/rear is flatter lol). I'm 5'5" and the length is great. There's maybe an inch or two scrunched at the bottom but it doesn't look bad at all (it's snug material so not floppy/sloppy). They washed up well though I don't recommend drying them in a dryer, I hang dry most of my cotton things and these didn't shrink at all (warm/cold wash, low dryer for a few minutes, hung after). I think it's fantastic to get a high-cotton legging for $20, 5 stars!

Unfortunately the length of the leg was way to long for me and the crotch area seemed to short. I constantly felt like I was pulling these pants up to get the seam of the crotch lined up right between my legs, if not then after awhile the pants just slowly crept down my butt and the crotch area ended up being mid thigh. They also felt to loose in the lower back/top upper butt area. When I would pull them up all the way they fit fine across the stomach but then baggy on my lower back, too much material in the waist band or something, not tight enough. The legs were also too long. The Spyder logo down my leg was never fully visible because the leg length was just so long. I actually could pull the bottom ankle part down to nearly the top of my foot because they were so long. Just a very awkward cut. I will keep these for around the house but not for public view. I'm 5'6 in height so not particularly a short person.

These leggings are a little different from others I've ordered, and that's a good thing. They're not made out of the clingy fabric that tends to bunch up. They're a little long on me, but I'm short, so I knew that going in. I'm still able to wear them without a problem. Because of the above-mentioned clingy fabric, I tend to order a size bigger than I what I wear. I did that with these, but it wasn't necessary. They stay on without bunching, and they're very comfortable. I've already ordered another pair.

I love cotton spandex leggings. So many things run small that I went over the top and ordered up in size.FABRICThese are lightweight cotton spandex knit. They are what you would use in a yoga room or working out, but wearing in public, they reveal lines, bumps and lumps more than many other leggings due to how thick they are.STYLEThese leggings are designed to be really tight in the legs (think pantyhose) and looser in the top. They are also long in the legs so expect a scrunch at the ankle unless you are quite tall.FITI wear a size 16 misses US. Since legging usually run small, I ordered 3XL. I could not find any size chart when I ordered these, so I was flying blind, so to speak. As it turns out, the legs are pretty firm fitting, but the top is comfortable and the waist is pretty big. I would say I could take them in an inch and they would be fine. I won't though. I kind of like the non binding feeling of the larger waist. These do scrunch at the ankle though so if they shrink up, that won't be an issue. I am 5'7" and these are long in the legs.THE BOTTOM LINEThese are comfortable but tight in the legs and scrunchy long. Order up if you want comfort.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. As long as you are aware of the need to size up for lots of comfort, these are great. If I had ordered my size, I think they would have been a bit too tight. I love these a little on the larger side. I would buy another pair in this size.
