Simple Things

Had to get this after revisiting vinyl with the recent vinyl revival ( yes it really is sooooo much better than the compressed world we are now forced to listen to most music with).This is still an absolute classic chilled album that sounds even better on vinyl.

Quality and sound is amazing. The music is astounding.

Mellow acoustic vibes, file under 'alternative'. Quirky, authentic and very English, perfectly formed.Nicely engineered too

The media could not be loaded. 5 stars for the album, so underrated. Always loved zero7.1 star for the print, been sending back 4 so far, all skip verses in different places though they were all sealed and new. Really bad print. Tip: when you buy this, first thing check "Destiny" (disk 1, 3rd song, side A), it seems to be the worst of all and it is always impossible to listen to it and not get annoyed. Pitty, it's my favourite song. Hope you don't come across the same problem, I will keep trying as this is one of my favourite albums ever and really want the disk!

I've had to return two of these for bad prints and scratches. Both were new and sealed. Maybe just a bad print run. I'm trying a third time as I want this on vinyl so badly.

Just had mine delivered and after reading the other reviews and comments about some poor vinyl pressings I made a point of playing mine right through. Absolutely perfect, no noise, no skips, just great music. I already have their albums on cd but if ever an album deserved to be heard on vinyl it's this one. Listening to this I understand why my cd's never get played. If you want vinyl perfection then here it is. (also check out London Grammar)

Disco excelente dessa dupla britânica que compôe e produz músicas sensacionais. De uma qualidade sonora e sofisticação impecável. Tenho os tres primeiros Lps e todos são ótimos. Contam com músicos excelentes, muito precisos e as músicas são modernas e muito melodiosas. A qualidade de som dos Vinis é perfeita, principalmente dos sons graves.E contam com a presença especial , em começo de carreira, dos vocais da cantora Sia Furler, que depois se tornaria famosa com Titanium, Chandelier e muitas outras.. Vale a pena!!!

Album fondamentale del genere chill out, assolutamente da avere, in questa bellissima edizione in vinile.

The mastering on this release is just nothing short of fantastic. A big part of that is the decision to split what could have been a single LP into a double LP making the grooves a little wider as a result. Because of that, the mid bass comes through so much stronger, similar to a 12" maxi-single but a full LP instead. As a result, the dynamic range is among the best of the albums, alongside other albums that utilize the same technique (including Zero 7's other LPs as well). Well worth it, especially if you have a halfway OK setup.Oh and the album itself is fantastic but you already knew that or you wouldn't be looking at buying this would ya?
