Is this really good for keeping water out of a wound/stiches that are not supposed to be submerged..?

Can protect a scar from the sun during swimming?

Will thus stick around and area that is leaking fluid? Wife has an incision that should have a wound vac on it, but Dr. didn't think she needed it.
