I purchased my sharpshooter scale by Truweigh almost 5 years ago. I am an avid reloader and used it extensively and exclusively over those years. It is very accurate and easy to operate. It's consistency is remarkable. Last week, unfortunately when I attempted to zero it after a couple weeks of non-use, it would not do so. After several attempts to eliminate the problem, I emailed Truweigh and ask for support. Within a very few hours I received an email back from Moira in their customer service department telling me to send them the scale and if it is defective. They will quickly send me a new one. I sent them the scale the next day. Almost Immediately after receiving it, Moira emailed me and said they would be sending me a new scale right away. I should receive it tomorrow. That is a turnaround less than a week! In conclusion I can attest that the scale is robust, consistent, and accurate. Accurate. Served me very very well. In addition, when something did go wrong, the company stood behind it better than anything I have seen in all my 78 years of living. Thank you, Moira and Truweigh for rebuilding my faith in American companies.I highly recommend this scale to anyone who is a reloader or who plans to be.

The media could not be loaded. The unit didn't work. It switched on and the display showed 0.000, but that didn't change when I put something on it. So I contacted customer service and they offered to send a replacement on receipt of the returned unit. Weeks later the replacement arrived, and exhibited the exact same behavior. I contacted them again and they accepted a return. But this time, I had to pay for the postage! This is about 1/2 the value of the item, so I am not happy. That's totally unreasonable. I have had to pay about NZD$40 for precisely nothing.

So far so good. Have used it for hundreds of rounds so far and it seems to work great. I have to make sure my ceiling fan is off due to it getting inconsistent readings with it on. Also I have seen tare weight deviation from time to time but only .1gr shift. It seems to happen when you either leave the scale with the charge on too long or leave it with nothing on the scale. If you continue to use it, it doesn't shift. Only been using it for a couple of weeks but like I said hundreds of rounds weighed. So far I don't regret it at all and would definitely recommend it. It's better than any other scale I've used

Very accurate as long as you keep resetting zero. Make sure you don’t breath on it or have so movement while weighing because it causes the reading to vary.

I've been using this scale to verify loads on .410 bore shells. The scale is sensitive enough for me. I have not needed to calibrate it at all. Using the standard weights, it is on target every use and I've used it about six different sessions. It is so sensitive, I place it on a separate surface, out of air currents. It holds readings well and is reasonably stable considering its high precision. I've probably tared it over 200 times and it still reads accurately. I can remember when scales with this precision and accuracy cost hundreds of dollars. So far, it's well worth the price.

Update: We would give this "scale" a zero rating if possible. 2nd unit arrived today and is DOA. Amazon only gives option for refund this time and I'm OK with that. Perhaps we have been sent returns from other customers, twice in a row? I doubt it... I think this item's quality is simply not there.Must have got a lemon like some others here. Calibration is a sick joke. In a still environment, with no vibration, the zero swings wildly 20 gr plus and minus (yes, 20). It can't even get the weight correct of the 10 g weights it came with for that explicit purpose, post calibration. The reading changes by itself with an object stationary on it, often climbing non-stop as if an invisible reloader is trickling in powder. Remove any object and you'll never be back at zero. I've returned scales that were a quarter the price and better than this one. I've put in for a replacement so I'll update score if it warrants a higher rating.

I got this sharpshooter scale thinking it would be super accurate. Well it is, but it has almost zero repeatability. Even if you just zero it out and take a couple measurements, it does not repeat weight of the item, and it doesn't hold zero.. And I'm not talking about the thousands digit fluctuating a little which I would expect, it goes off by hundredths. I could not get this scale to repeat with any size weights from 1 gram to 40 grams. Would not repeat anywhere near the first weighing.. I was really hoping this was going to be a good scale but it appears that it's just an overpriced piece of junk. For the money you would expect much better than this as far as it being a quality scale, and it does not appear to be well made either.. I bought a $25 Perphin scale that blows this scale off the charts. It repeats beautifully, very stable and well made.. This junk is going back to where it came from!

The first one just stopped working all together shortly after I got it. They sent another one. It powers up OK and calibrates, etc. However, the measured weight on the same calibration weights creeps up with every measurement. After about 4 times it about .2-.3 g off and just keeps going up. When I lift the weight off the scale, it doesn't return to zero either. I have tried it in several locations and with everything off in a dark room. Same problem. I know others have rated this scale high, so maybe I have just been very unlucky with two of them, but I have to rate it based on my experience. Not much use to me except for a single weigh and then resetting the tare.
