Q: Does this work on baby fine, thin hair?

I don’t know about the “baby fine” portion of this question as I have white hair due to my older age, however....the Rootie is an awesome idea, it did not work for me since my hair is thin. The idea was to give me volume, that did not happen. Because my hair is thin, the kinks the Rootie makes at the hair roots show through.

Q: What’s the diff between this one and the one for $129?

The one advertised directly from the company has a bag and clips included.

Q: Will it work on pixie cut hair

It’s only an inch wide. You just need to make sure you cover the crimped layer with a smooth layer. I suggest playing with it. With practice you can have a nice head of “thick” hair

Q: Which one should I buy for fine long hair?

I purchased the Classic, larger version than Petite. I have fine long hair and it works great. The plates width is still narrower than on a crimping iron (if you've ever tried one of those). I like that it grabs more hair at the root than the smaller version will. Gets the job done faster too! I also had a hard time deciding which one, but I'm glad I made the choice I did.
