This set-up has been so helpful for recovery following shoulder surgery. The ability to sit up higher or lay it lower, depending on time of day, comfort, activity (watching tv, reading, eating, etc.) has been valuable. I find I haven’t used the lower leg portion where you can prop up more, but I think that was more preference and due to the type of recovery, not the product itself. The quality is great. The pillows have held their shape despite laying in mostly the same position for numerous hours post-surgery, without losing comfort. As I’ve progressed (now 5 weeks post-op) in recovery and removed the bumper from my shoulder sling, the side pillows have been so helpful with the right support to allow me to sleep.I chose this product due to its higher reviews than similar products, and because I do not have room to rent or buy a recliner. It has not disappointed at all. I’ve been very grateful for this set of pillows. Well worth the price.

They might be a bit expensive, but so was surgery and this was my must have for comfort! At the moment I’m using some on the couch that folds up like a recliner, leg pillow, arm pillow the lard back and the small back, it’s beyond comfortable and I slept easily with almost all os them on the couch. Tonight I will try to make it upstairs and try them all. If I don’t re do the review then yall know it was amazing! Again it was a bit pricey and something I barely could afford but I am extremely pleased with this!

Got this for post-surgery recovery. It’s been wonderful. The pillows are firm enough to maintain their shape, to support my weight but with a soft upper layer that is gentle and feels very comfortable on the skin.The only issue I’ve had with this is the under-the-butt pillow. Maybe due to my weight, but I would do better with a pillow that was double the thickness. I’ve used the arm pillows under my butt. It’s not perfect but the rest of the set is so good I can’t take off a star for the butt pad not being thick enough for my generous proportions.The covers are removable with different textures depending on the intention. Slip resistant on some sides where it helps (behind the headrest for example). The sides are very soft. The top sides are soft and stretchy (and cat scratch resistant apparently).It is easy to lift and maneuver, even with my post-surgery restrictions.All in all a great set which has been terrific for me (a life long stomach sleeper) finding a way to sleep on my back with some elevation after surgery. It’s very comfortable for me, for sleeping or watching tv, or embroidering or just staring into space.

This item was actually exactly as described. The reason for the lower rating may only be personal, you'll have to decide. I had back surgery and was simultaneously having issues with other joints. This product was not providing the broader support I needed during this time. However, I was able to return it with zero issues for a full refund.

I’m disabled and spend my life in bed. This is a wonderful addition to my life. The quality is beyond what I expected. I can’t imagine doing without this bad mate. I am so thankful that I found this on Amazon. It is made the quality of my life so much better I’m able to sleep easy without any discomfort. The quality of this product is well worth the press I highly recommended.

I’m currently recovering from a major throat surgery, and this set has honestly been a game changer. I’ve been stuck in the hospital longer than expected, dealing with pain, nausea, and needing to stay in an upright position most of the time. These set make it so much easier to rest without sliding down or straining my neck and back.The different pieces let me customize how I sit, and I can stack them to keep my head elevated for breathing and swelling, or use the leg support to take pressure off my lower back. The foam is firm enough to hold its shape but still comfortable for long hours in bed. I love it! the size is also just right.
