If you want to give new life to a sluggish mid-2012 MacBook, add these memory modules, and then a Solid State Drive. I bought 12 of these memory cards to upgrade a total of 6 mid-2012 13" MacBook Pro laptops (non-retina displays) from 4GB to 16GB each for teachers at my school.The price was very reasonable, with Prime free 2-day shipping. The cards arrived quickly, packaged in anti-static wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and padding. Installation was easy, (I used a grounded wrist strap to minimize the risk of static damage.) One of the cards was DOA, but returning it for a new module was fast and painless through Amazon's return process. Great product, good price, great customer service!The good news: the staff had been complaining about how painfully slow the old laptops had become. I expected quadrupling the RAM would significantly reduce this problem, and I wasn't disappointed. Everything opens faster, and the "spinning beach-ball" only shows up once in a while, and not for long. The next step: install Solid State Drives to finish turbo-charging these Macs. I've installed a 500GB SSD in one as a test, and the memory upgrade along with the SSD has transformed the Mac into a fast, virtually new device. This was at a fraction of the cost of a new Mac (around $135 total to upgrade one Mac with both the SSD and RAM.) Worked perfectly to replace existing 8 Gb memory in my 7 year old Dell 17R laptop and increase to 16 Gb RAM capacity. Laptop now faster and handles heavy load CAD and graphics software, along with 1 Tb SSD I installed.

One stick of RAM was bent and defective upon arrival. Packaging was also bad too. I have a replacement on the way. Hopefully that one won't be damaged. I'll update this post once it arrives. Update: So hopefully this review will help someone else. The new RAM sent was just installed and it works! And if someone wonders this was installed on an HP Pavilion 15-n028us laptop.

Bought this to rebuild my nephews laptop. Put in Win 10 Pro, Office 2019 Pro and added this 8GB stick to his motherboard as well as an SSD drive. It runs beautifully. Like new.TIP always put this 8GB stick in the first slot as Windows addresses that ram stick first then anything left over goes to the second slot! He already had a 4gb stick in his laptop so I moved that to the second slot giving him a total of 12GB.He uses the laptop in his Porsche dealership ar repair business. It is working perfectly through a Bluetooth adapter I added to one of the USB slots that he uses to connect to his diagnostic meters. Loves it. Runs smoothly now without any slowdowns or trouble.

Bought this to bump up the RAM on my ASUS laptop. Did some initial search to find an affordable but reliable 8GB RAM stick and ended up buying this one. It is great value for the money, fit perfectly, and have not given me any issues since installed.

I got this memory to upgrade my workstation laptop to 32GB of RAM. This is particularly useful for those of us who run memory intensive applications such a virtual machines. Now I can run my two virtual machines simultaneously and still have enough memory available to my host machine. For the longest time I refused to upgrade from the stock 16 GB my laptop came with. But this was just too great value to pass and I'm glad I upgraded.

I have a cheap laptop (HP 15-f272wm) which, since I don't game or do anything to heavy duty, serves my purposes just fine. The RAM upgrade has made my device noticeably faster and now serves my needs even better and faster. Thumbs up on this product.

Apparently this cheap ram is made in USA. It works well, and it's good to see a USA product price competitive. If these guys can break the Chinese and even more Korean stranglehold on ram I'll be happy.

Super easy to install. Noticeable improvement in performance for the price of a tiny upgrade. I shouldn’t have waited so long to do this!
