Partially banked
Technically, the track is not banked. However, the curved pieces are different than the standard 45. These have extra holes on the underside for the angled "banks" to connect to. So, they are banked, but not as much as could be.

I assumed from the box art that the Banked Curve ...
I assumed from the box art that the Banked Curve would be conic in form, to give proper sweeping banked curves, but no, what you get are two standard C8206 curves and some supports. Bought for my son and we both found them rather disappointing.

A Great High-Speed Addition to any Layout.
Unlike other reviewers, received actual curved track pieces not just standard radius 2 curve. Supports are sturdy and easy to put together. Despite being nowhere near as high as the classic 70s & 80s banking, these make a great high-speed addition to any layout.
