The stem employs an intelligent pairing of aluminum and carbon fiber to achieve the perfect balance of strength, stiffness and weight into the smoothest and cleanest design. The body is forged from an advanced 7050 aluminum before being reinforced with high modulus carbon fiber. The broad four-bolt face plate design better distributes stress and lowers the clamping force required to secure the handlebar.

Excellent quality part beautiful fit and finish, most imagery makes it appear grey but it is matte black. The information listed is a bit confusing. Here are clear specs:-Syncros Aero Stem (universal compatibility)-Handle Bar Clamp Size: 31.8mm-Steerer Tube Clamp Size: 31.8mm (1-1/4")-Construction: Lightweight casting AL 6061-Matte black body finish with gloss black t25 Torx fasteners and painted decal for a low profile clean look-Please ensure your steerer tube is 1-1/4" OD before ordering or use a shim (31.8mm to 28.6mm).

Perfect. Needed a 120mm for my 2016 Scott Foil. Comes stamped as “RR 1.5” which is he same as RR 1.0. Thanks!
