I have been using swiffers since they first came out. It was always handy for light jobs but failed with tough spots that required scrubbing: the handle was weak and a wet cloth tended to pull off the pad. This model has a strong handle with adjustable height that locks in place and tighter insert grips on the pad that are now much more secure. The handle easily swivels 360 degree, the pad adjusts securely for both floors and baseboards, and the beefy new heavy duty wet cloths and dusters tackle tougher jobs. Time to retire the old model.

So easy to assemble, compact, and fits right under my sink . I had a spinal cord injury last year and now am a paraplegic. I bought this mop a week ago, and its the best money I have ever spent. My new Swiffer mop never falls to the floor where I cant reach, like my old conventional mops did, when propped in the corner for storage, always tangling in my chairs wheels. This mop glides, and doesn't strain my arms and back when mopping. Its out of sight, stored , and reachable because of the collapsible handle!! Brilliant! Something so simple is lifechanging. No fighting water bucket or wringing out mop. I can mop my own floors and feel good about my independence and clean floors. No longer need to hire a person to come do my floors.

I really like the new style mop. Much sturdier than the original one. However this comes with lavender scented wet pads, not the fresh scent as pictured .

This is much easier to collapse and store than previous versions of the swiffer. It is great to keep in our RV!

The media could not be loaded. Love the new compact aspect of this! I didn't have anything to clean my floors for a while due to not having anywhere to store anything. This fits perfectly under my kitchen sink. However this does not clean well, it's more of an in-between/whipe up small spills type of tool. The pads definitely leave a film on the floor, and it takes some heavy pressure to get any spots up but they do smell great! The pads can be pretty soaking wet at first, so it can take some time for the floors to dry. The price is fair for what your recieving. Overall, the swiffer is easy to use, easy to store, functions well, and should hold up over time due to the strong metal materials. If you are wanting more of a deep cleaning tool, and have the space for it, I suggest a mop instead! Also, perfect for little kids who love cleaning!
