Directed 514LN Revenger Soft-Chirp Siren - 6-Tones Consumer Electronics Accessories

The Viper 350hv alarm on my son's truck wasn't working, and I used a multi-meter and checked the current going to the siren. There was power going to the siren when the alarm was activated, but the siren was quiet as a church mouse. I purchased this siren, which is a direct replacement with same product number as the original (514LN). I cut the wires to the old siren and spliced in the wires for the new siren, and now the siren on my son's truck makes the same loud noises it did when his alarm was new.

The alarm siren on my 1998 car finally died. Thought this was the same size but it is much smaller easy to hook up to alarm and works well. Not super loud but still loud enough to hear in house . Overall a good cheap replacement siren and easy to mount in tight spaces. Came the next day - Cant go wrong

The 514 LN is what should have came, or that’s really false advertisement. The 514 L is a lot smaller, however it’s only 6db and kinda quiet. This needs to be louder but I don’t know if yall got sumthin stronger but I would like to know but it needs to match that 514LN not the 514 L send all responses to [email protected] thanks.

No soft chirp...just as loud as any other siren

Having installed Directed products for 15 years of my life, it is my opinion this is not a legitimate DEI product. First, it is not soft chirp at all, so do not expect it to be. Second, there is no DEI branding on the product and ALL of Directed products are branded. Even the box is not DEI as the package their products in blue and white.

I purchased this for under $15 on Amazon. I haven’t cut the “chirp” looped wire yet. The alarm volume is lower than the original Viper alarm speaker. Do not pay more than $15 for this speaker!
