Overall, it's a great system, but....
My first impression upon receipt, was that I had purchased a quality item. That thought was based solely upon the system arriving in a nice little carry bag (yes, I`m easily amused). Opening and preparing to install the trolley system was still looking good, as the enclosed hardware appeared to be well made. In preparation, I had recently watched several videos on installing a trolley system and while feeling confident, figured I should review the enclosed instructions in case of any variables. It was at that point, things began to unravel and I considered returning it. There are no illustrations provided within the directions and the text was written so poorly, I found myself confused and second guessing what I had viewed previously, watching others complete their installations. Frustrated, I walked away from it and didn't return for a few days. When I did return, I ignored the included instructions and proceeded as if knowing what I was doing. The installation ended up going smoothly enough and again, I felt for the most part, as if I had bought a quality item. Logging on now to review this item, I noticed the picture shows both pulleys having bungee attached, which was how I had seen other installations completed. The provided section of bungee that I received was approximately ten inches long. Due to the short length this kit provided, I was only able to use bungee at one end. Apparently, my kit was shorted and there should have been a second section for the other end. I say this because there would have been no way to cut it in half and still have it serve its intended purpose. I also think for the additional pennies it would cost, a couple of retention clips should have been included to keep the trolley from flopping around on the side of the kayak. Overall, it's a great system, but there are some flaws.

Poor quality apparent after a few uses - Harmony service non-existant
I picked up two of these trolleys for my two Malibu Stealth 14 kayaks. As another review indicated, the instructions are quite lacking, but without too much trouble I installed the first one. When installing the second, I noticed that they'd included the wrong type of screws in the kit. This wasn't a huge deal as I was able to find identical screws at Lowe's, but it was frustrating. I decided to write to Harmony customer service just to test their response anyway. After two emails, I've still received no response. The trolleys worked well for a couple of months before one broke. Upon inspection, it appears that the little "U" brackets that you attach the pulley to are made poorly. It literally just pulled right off the screw that was holding it onto the kayak (this was the trolley with the Harmony-provided screws). The bolt was still attached properly, the bracket just slipped over the screw head. These kayaks have been used very lightly in flats with only moderate wind. No extreme conditions or anything. I typically refuse to go out unless conditions are ideal. The other screw on that same bracket is kind of buried into the bracket, in some stage of failure of its own. For now, I just left it as-is as I can't get the screw off of the thing. I wrote to Harmony once again and, against my better judgement, purchased another of the trolleys to use for replacement parts. I just didn't want to deal with installing another system that may have holes, etc, that didn't line up with the ones already drilled into my kayak. This kit had pieces missing so I returned it and rigged up a fix of my own using a longer screw and a small washer under the screw head. And I've still heard nothing back from Harmony. If you assume the worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) here and say that I've just received a dud in the failed trolley, there's still no excuse for Harmony to simply ignore all my support requests. I'd recommend avoiding this company all together for that reason alone.

Works just like it should
The product is very simplistic and works well. However, the directions are vague and unclear. But the product itself works well.

Horrible Instructions, Poor quality
I just installed this anchor trolley on my BRAND NEW Ocean Kayak. I'm normally a DIY'er, but after dropping the large chunk of cash on my super sleek Trident, I wanted a professional looking product to add to my fishing machine. After looking at several sites and trolleys from various manufacturers, I settled on the Harmony. It appeared to be widely available and appears to be the accessory provider of choice for Wilderness Systems. After installing this trolley, I wish I had bought/installed this myself. First, the instructions are terrible. The only use I can find for them would be scratch paper.... They are very confusing, offer no pictures, and do not fit the $40 price tag for some rope and a couple of pulleys....So, after doing some more Google'ing and dry runs, I settled on where to install the deck rings (no thanks to the instructions....) The instructions provide two options for attaching the deck ring, one with screws (if you have access to inside the hull) and one with pop rivets (if you don't, for example the rear postion of a trident). Despite knowing I can't access the interior of the kayak, the directions instructed me to place the nylon backed washer on the INSIDE of the hull so it would compress with the rivet.... Couldn't do that, but otherwise the rear installation was successful. For the forward mount, I had access so I used the screws. There are two sizes of scres, 4 small for the deck eyes and two large for the clam cleat. The 4 small screws pull through the screw holes as noted by the previous reviewer. If you use the large screws, they don't seat into the flush hole.Needless to say, when I install a trolley on the other side, This one will not be the one I purchase.......

Harmony anchor trolley kit
This kit worked well for my wilderness systems tarpon 120. There is a really great youtube video of a guy installing something similar. Overall I would definitely recommend this product for any angler trying to anchor up the way they want. Happy Yakin!!!
