Permanent Magnet Synchronous and Brushless DC Motor Drives (Mechanical Engineering (Marcel Dekker))

I am SME in motor drives. This book addresses details of PMSM controls from motor design to control and power electronics of drive design.

I was looking forward to reading di book! I didn't finish it yet but I think it's very interesting! It has arrived in time, even a little bit in advance. I recommend it!

I like the book but there are major gaps.Equations 3.5 and 3.6 are expanded. Why expand the equation and not show the matrix form?Using equation 3.14 and doing the transformation does not result in eq3.26. My result has (Ld - Lq)*[iqdr)'. Which appears to be correct.Whish there was some way to contact the author or maybe a discussion board for the book.Anyone else grunting through the equations and having problems?Will edit my review if I find a solution source.

Excellent Book for Power Electronics Engineers

have not jet read it all ....but ok and many details...perhaps some more examples of tecnical solutions will be welcome...

Excellent livre avec beaucoup de détails théorique sur la commande et plus particulièrement sur la régulation en boucle fermée de machines synchrones. A conseiller.
