The extension kit is useful for adding extra mounting points to the FX3/FX30. and installation is simple. However, the finish is not as smooth as expected, and some of the screw holes don’t align perfectly. It doesn’t feel very reliable when attaching heavier accessories. It works, but the quality control could be better.

This works with only very specific full cages. I have the Smallrig cage, so it worked with my cage. But I also changed my top arca-swiss plate for one that allowed my DJI Mic to fit in the hot-shoe, and this top plate is not compatible with the screw holes. The mounting holes again are very specific to 2 cages and you must use the exact cages to for this to work. When it is all attached, it allows you to use D-Tap for everything. But you have to make sure you have a USB-C to D-Tap, and if you use a monitor, then also a D-Tap to monitor cable. The v-mount battery holder worked perfectly with my Smallrig battery. It fits nicely and turns your camera into a full camera rig. It will not work with a gimbal without a lot more attachments, but it is basically one big cheese plate. The plastic housing looks 3D printed. There is an on/off switch for power. The screws included will only work with specific cages. It is not to heavy when fully assembled. The cheese plates are metal. It is a good alternative to the original one. You will not notice a difference.

He is not only beautiful, but also very affordable. I can accept this price, and I don't have to wait to get the goods.
