Quality and luxury: a must have for canoe fishing.
Been going to the BWCA for 8 years now and spent a third of my trip trolling the canoe so my partner could fish. Bought one of these 32" socks just to see how it would perform and was instantly blown away by their performance. Without any alterations they pop open within moments of going into the water. They come out of the water with very little effort or residual water clinging to them. Performance is unparalleled. Even on the windiest of days during my trip, these socks kept me barely moving and allowed me to make more than enough casts as I slowly drifted down the lake. While I can't offer technical specifics on precisely the speeds before and after the sock, I can admit that it was a mistake not investing in one sooner.

Disappointment
Disappointed, bought this for my husband for his birthday tried it out and it doesn’t sink to slow us down, just skims across the top of the water. Not worth the money.

Unless they replace this for free don’t buy one
The very first day I used this. This what it looked like after 3 hours of trolling. Small 21’ boat used it to slow me down from idle speed of 2.5mph to 1.6mph. Very poor workmanship. Looks like the stitching angled out to the edge. Wasted my money! Very disappointing.

Worked great
Used this yesterday to slow the boat down for fishing with bottom bouncer. Worked fine.
