MOOCY Drift Sock Anchor Drogue Drifting Brake for Boats/PWC/Kayaks

Quality and luxury: a must have for canoe fishing.
Been going to the BWCA for 8 years now and spent a third of my trip trolling the canoe so my partner could fish. Bought one of these 32" socks just to see how it would perform and was instantly blown away by their performance. Without any alterations they pop open within moments of going into the water. They come out of the water with very little effort or residual water clinging to them. Performance is unparalleled. Even on the windiest of days during my trip, these socks kept me barely moving and allowed me to make more than enough casts as I slowly drifted down the lake. While I can't offer technical specifics on precisely the speeds before and after the sock, I can admit that it was a mistake not investing in one sooner.

Diameter Not The Advertised 24"
I ordered the 24" drift sock and received a Moocy package that had a label on it for 24" but the actual diameter is only15". Don't know how it works as I had a special assembly set up for 24" diameter so couldn't use it. Also, it is not clear where they measured the 24" as there is no 24" dimension (it is 23" wide at the top when laid flat and 23" long) and they don't show how the get the dimension on the website.

Good product.
I live in Cheyenne, Wy. Its get very windy here way too often.20mph winds blow me accross my favorite pond in about 10 minutes. I rigged this little thing through my anchor trolley and spent 1-1/2 hour on the water drifting before having to pull it out and paddle back.

Awesome product for the price!
These things work fantastic! I use 2 of them for my 18ft Lund Impact to prevent my boat from swinging side in the wind & stay straight with the current. I also use them to slow my drift for halibut/striper in the bay & to reduce my trolling speed. Can’t say enough about how well they work & how well made they are. I’ve owned them now for 2 years with no visible signs of deterioration of any sort & I use them a lot.

Great drift sock
Bought this drift sock for kayak fishing in my 12' kayak. it works well at slowing down the drift when trying to fish structure. Would recommend attaching it with a bungee cord. I also sewed the smaller diameter hole up 2/3's and it made it perform a lot better

Works well
Base speed on my pontoon w 115 mercury was 2.5-3.5 mph. This sock is strong n slows me down to 1.5 👍🏻

Well constructed and of strong durable material.
Works very well and is properly sized for ny 17' Whaler. When rigging however one needs to attach net floats for your particular situations and use preferences.

Works great and well made
Use this on my 27 foot center console in the gulf of Mexico, it works perfectly sometimes I'll deploy 2 to really slow my drift. Would purchase again.

Size given is NOT the diameter
Sizing provided is misleading - their 24 inch sock is actually less than 16 inches. Drift socks are sized based on their diameter. The 24 inches referred to in the description are with the material laid flat and measured around the leading edge (curve). The actual opening-size when inflated with water is only 16 inches. This is a tiny sock.

Great quality. Thank you : )
Great product. I'm impressed with the quality and the price. Shipping was very fast. Product is sturdy and thick. I'm going to use it next week in my kayak to help with fishing. I'm going to be on Upper Arrow Lake and I'm not sure how fast the water will be because its dammed up, and eventually turns into a river. This might come in very handy. Thank you.

Good for the canoe
Great for jigging off a canoe, really slows down drift in any wind. Is holding up great so far

Get two!
Used them on bow. Affixed to centre ring and tail to first cleat. Using one on either side eliminates irregular drag\steering issues. Using as described slowed my troll speed 50%. I couldn't be happier
