Great Idea!
I have gone through a couple cheap DVD cases in the past few years. The sleeves are always tearing up or falling out, and the cases themselves become junk. I was about to spend $30 more on yet another case when I discovered these. They are so much sturdier than my previous $30-$40 cases, and cheaper too! I don't care about a fancy case, I don't care that it zips up or includes pockets for DVD/CD covers. All I want is something to hold the kid's DVDs. I got a few 1.5" 3-ring binders and VOILA! For $20 I have enough sleeves to carry 300 DVDs! It is a little weird that the manufacturer decided to slide the DVDs from the outside in (rather than inside out), and you would think they'd easily fall out of the sleeves, but they don't. At least not yet. Maybe in another year they will be loosened to the point the DVDs slide out. But that's the beauty of this set - you can always replace one or two pages anytime you want!I am debating on whether or not I want to buy Case-it XLarge Capacity 4-Inch D-Ring Zipper Binder with 5-Tab File Folder, Blue, D-186-BLU or something similar to keep these in . . . I will probably just keep with the cheap 3-ring binder until/if the rings lose alignment and then I will consider putting my DVDs in a nicer case.

Perfect for downsizing DVD collection
OK... I know I'm not the only one who has a ton of DVDs that is taking up valuable real estate. Even selling a majority of them and giving away much of them, I still have too many. I found the Vaultz CD Binder Inserts - Pack of 50 DVD Storage Sleeves for Media Discs w/ 3 Ring Binder Holes - Holds 8 CDs per page to be the perfect solution to downsizing our dvd collection. Especially given the fact that I have various titles that have many seasons (multiple discs). I had 2- Mead 3 inch 3 ring zipper binders that were never used in the top of the closet. These fit perfectly. I did purchase another zipper binder only because I am unable to lift much weight but for the average person, one pack and one 3in 3ring zipper binder of your choice would be fine. I only stated Mead because it is the type I had on hand and it has a good strong handle and zipper. Now, I am able to clear out my family's lifetime collection of near 400 DVDs and cases and replace it in these small binders.

Works great!
I have a large dvd collection and needed a better way to store and organize them. I got these to switch from a zipper case to a 3 ring hi der and sleeve system.I was unsure whether i would recieve an open side or top sleeve. They are open on the side. I was nervous about it but they work great! Its easy to get them in and out but they also stay put really well. The seam is a little extra snug in one spot (see photo) to hold the discs in place. They do get a little wierd if you have discs on both sides but that my only complaint.I will be ordering more in the future if needed.

Efficient and Affordable Storage
I've been using this system for CD storage for several years. I am a DeeJay and Radio archivist and store a lot of programming on CDs. I use thumb drives a lot too but for certain applications CDs are my primary go-to storage method. I like the convenience of these pages, even though sometimes I wish the openings for CDs were on the top, rather than on the sides. CDs slip in easily and there is a soft surface provided that helps protect them in both directions. The pages fit nicely into binders or store flatly, but this is of your own decision. I frequently do a 2-hour program and use one CD for each hour. I can easily store the music chosen for a full program on 2 CDs, and they tuck in nicely in the upper or lower level of each page. There is enough room to slip a note card or identifying content listing with each CD. These work well for my application and I recommend them.

Perfect! Use with 4 inch Gapless Media Storage Binder
Love these so much! They are solving our storage problem! Use with the Gapless media storage binder (4” size) and they fit perfectly without sticking out. They are too wide for a regular binder. They hold the DVD’s tightly and securely. They are thin, so as to not take up too much room, but sturdy enough to put in and take out the DVD’s without issues. For those of you who don’t like the idea of parting with your media boxes, I am boxing all the empty cases and putting them in the attic. That way, if I ever want to sell them or donate them or even just loan them out, I will still have the cases to put them in. Out of sight, out of mind, but still available if I want them later. Meanwhile, I am getting 2 sets of shelves out of my living room! Yay!!! It feels bigger already:-)

These are the best disc binder sleeves on the market.
I've bought two boxes now. I keep all discs in one binder. The sleeves are tight at first, but the loosen a bit and stretch as you slide a disc in and out. They hold discs well, and they allow you to pull the disc out without touching the bottom of the disc, unlike some other sleeves out there.Overall, very pleased, will buy these again if my collection grows beyond 600 discs, lol.

Just what I was looking for!
Fits into the Carstens binders. Works great. Doesn't take as much room to store my DVD and CD collections. It's easier for my arthritic hands.
