VICSEED 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁, 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 Air Vent Holder, Handsfree Cell Phone Car Mount Fit for iPhone 14 13 12 11 Pro Max Mini Plus Samsung

I purchased a Galaxy S20 Ultra and put an Otterbox Commuter case on it. From there I was in the market for a new holder. This one clearly stated it does not work with Otterbox, but the Commuter is Otterbox's smaller case, and did not add much bulk. Figured I would try it. It fit, but the depth of the phone and case made it too tight to mount and remove with one hand. All dimensions but depth were fine. It worked but required two hands. Once mounted it was secure and it looked good with or without the phone. I do not routinely place and remove the phone these days with everything being bluetooth so I thought it might work long term. -- Vicseed contacted me just to see how I liked the holder, routine follow-up. I told them, acknowledging that I read the details about Otterbox but tried it anyway. While a tight fit I intended to keep and use it. Vicseed sent me another case, the "VICSEED Phone Holder for Car [Case Friendly]". No charge, no return expectations. I've been using the 2nd holder for about a week. While both are great, the 2nd is better for my phone/case. Both secure well and hold the phone securely. The case friendly does have a button with more common adjustment of the sides vs this item that is fixed and your phone drops into. But it is easy to operate with one hand. I would love the fixed drop-in design to accommodate and Otterbox but that is not available today. Hopefully I've conveyed that both are great, just grab the right one to suite your needs/phone. And rest assured that Vicseed stands behind their items and clearly values customer satisfaction.

I've had many car phone holders, and this one by Vicseed is the absolute best! Every other vent-mounted holder has either broken or the weight of my iPhone pulls them down, and they won't stay up. Last year, in 2023, I bought this one from Vicseed for my BMW 328i and was incredibly impressed with it! It was so easy to mount, and my iPhone did not cause it to fall down. It's also very easy to get my phone in and out of it quickly. So two weeks ago, my job sent me to Vancouver, British Columbia, to work for a few months, and I forgot my phone holder in my car back in the USA, so I thought I'd just buy a cheap holder for my rental car to get me through. WRONG!!! It won't stay up, and it's incredibly hard to get my phone in and out of it. After two weeks of fooling with it, I finally decided I needed another Vicseed one like I bought last year, so I went back to my orders and bought another one. And great that it was offered in Canada and I didn't have to pay customs charges but I was going to pay it anyway if I had to because this phone holder is fantastic! Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed if you buy it. And with the lifetime warranty, you can't go wrong. The company even emailed me to make sure I was happy with the product when I registered my warranty. So if you're looking for a vent-mounted phone holder, buy this one! This is my honest opinion and I have not been paid for this review.

Updated Review June 2019: Following my review that the product is awful, Vicseed contacted me and requested that I try their improved design for free. I agreed and did so. The improved design is far more sturdy, has arms that hold my I-XS with Zizo case, and has a suction cup to mount on the dashboard. For two weeks, it has held up pretty well. The new design & performance are similar to the Maxboost phone mount and works very well. I did not try out the air vent clip because I'm now used to the suction mount holder and think the Apple I-X is just too heavy to be clipped onto a thin air duct. I'm impressed by Vicseed and its customer service for improving their design and customer follow-up to make it right by me.Original Review January 2019: When I opened the package, my first thought was that this was a flimsy piece of junk. But I tried it. And it is an awful waste of plastic and money. For my iPhone XS with Zizo case, this holder didn't grip it well, and more importantly, the clips to the air vents simply didn't work -- it flew off within a couple minutes of driving slowly. Instead I bought a Maxboost phone mount, which is working great so far.
