50 Monte Carlo Design 14gm Clay Poker Chips - Choose

The media could not be loaded.  These chips look AWESOME on the pictures, so after a benchmark among lot of other chips I decided to buy. I trusted its quality would be outstanding but after I received them I was kind of disappointed...1. My current chip set (customized) box holds 600 chips. The Monte Carlo box comes with 500 so I purchased 100 additional chips covering all denominations. I was surprised to see that these 100 additional chips had color differences compared to the 500 chip set! I complained and the seller sent another 100 pack. Same thing! Well..., after you mix all the 600 chips you're not pretty able to catch the color differences, right? So I left it and kept them. Excuses...?2. One chip came broken. No problem, it was replaced among the second 100 chip group they sent.3. The quality is very poor! If you see the chips closely you will notice they are poorly made. As if the molding had defects, I don't know. So they don't feel smooth at touch. For those who love playing card games like me the smooth feeling of chips is something to value. I suppose that they will become better after lot of uses. Again, excuses?4. The weight is great. My other chips are 11.5g (which I've read is the official weight of major casino chips). These Monte Carlo are 14 gr so its weight and sound is gorgeous!5. The height of these chips is not even. Watch my video so you can get the idea. This is something that disturbs me tons!6. And finally THE LOOK. This is the best feature of these Monte Carlo chips according to my taste. The holographic ring on both chip faces (or whatever it is) looks beautiful, and that thing changes colors with different light sources. This makes the game table look spectacular!Summarizing, if I compare the Monte Carlo chips to my Ace King 777 previous chip set the difference is enormous. With all the considerations I mentioned above I can catalog these chips as a poor quality product. HOWEVER... they have other lovely details so I decided to give them 3 stars after all!!! And despite I finally decided to keep them, I won't buy this product again!Btw I wanted to upload some pictures but I didn't find the option where it usually was before. So no pictures, argh...Oh, yes. The support and warranty that the seller offered me (Vegas Supply Store) was great. Very serious people to deal with! I recommend them. It's just that this product is not so good, and you know, you have to find a good balance between the product itself and the warranty offered by the seller...
