This is such a good book, you automatically fall in love with all the characters..****There are some spoilers****Let's start with Ashley, she moves to Alaska from Florida with her best friend Christine,to start work.They go out the night they move there, that is where Ashley sees Dale for the first time, at the restaurant. Ashley and Christine go to a bar after the restaurant and she sees Dale again. She has never really flirted with a man before, but that is what she was doing..Ashley has another encounter with Dale the next day while she was on her walk, Dale invited her to his home to get out of the cold, they talk for a few hours, Dale give her a ride home.Come time to start her new job, and guess who her boss is?? You guessed right Dale Black. Ashley becomes his PA. Long story short they fall in love with each other over the next few weeks.Ashley meets Dale' s family, once Dale realizes Ashley is it for him, he has to tell her the truth about his parents. Will Ashley accept what his parents are or will she run the other way..Of course she accepts who and what they are.Ashley starts to get sick, getting tired and sluggish. Everyone thinks that she might be pregnant. Dale buys her a pregnancy test and it says positive, within that day, they are very happy and are excited to be parents..So she makes an appointment with the local doctor.Would we all love a happy ending? Yeah, I know, me too.They get to the doctors and he has some upsetting news, there is no baby, but a tumor.Will Ashley's end be near, or will Dale' s parents friends help Ashley.I guess you will have to read the book to find out.The author did a really good job writing this book, there are some sex scenes and Oh My, is all I'm going to say.The only down thing about the book is the grammar, once you get used to the grammar, then you start to enjoy the book.Towards the ends of the book you will need at least half of box of tissues.

I stumbled across this book accidentally and am very thankful. This book takes you on an emotional journey that captures your heart from the beginning. Ashley is sarcastic, witty, and compassionate to everyone. Dale is perfect. There really is no other way to describe him. He is sweet, selfless, and gentlemanly. The relationship between Dale and Ashley progresses rapidly. The plot, however, is more of a slow build due to the need to connect with the characters before you are thrown for some unexpected twists and turns. This book had me laughing and then immediately sobbing hysterically. This author weaved a tale of such emotional depth that I will most definitely be revisiting when I settle my own emotional state. I do need to warn of the grammatical errors. In the beginning it caused me to stumble and break the flow and concentration on the story that made it hard to stay invested. It didn’t take too long for me to get used to it and overlook these issues though. It did not result in me being unable to enjoy the story once I got into a rhythm. I recommend this book to fans of an emotional romance with some paranormal twists. If you are anything like I was you will need tissues handy!

I really enjoyed this book. It took me by surprise at certain points, in a good way. I thought that the author did a great job writing the characters of Ashley and Dale. The couple had a unique relationship, they shared passion and a mutual respect for one another. This book kept my interest until the very end.

Ashley is loving life, she has a new life in Alaska and is living the dream. After falling in love with her millionaire boss, they are making plans and preparing for their future. That is until her world comes crashing down around her....Best friends and soul mates, Ash and Dale have some tough decisions to make, they plan to make the most of their life but can they choose to leave the life they know and never look back????This book is emotional, funny and not what you would expect. I laughed and I cried but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is book 1 of the series and I am looking forward to the release of book 2.

Intriguing love story with that immortal twist. Book two will be an interesting twist :) 'the smile' looks at love, relationships, illness and death.
