As a first time buyer of a pool cleaning robot, I recently purchased the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra and my initial impressions of it were quite favorable. After using it for a few cleanings, I noticed that while the smart return to floor feature is handy, it is a little heavy and not very easy to retrieve. It has a good battery life and can last for several cleanings, but I would have liked the charging time to be a little faster. I didn't always observe his actual overall cleaning process as it was quite long, probably more than 4 hours? Will follow up on this product observation in making a more detailed review, overall the pool will be cleaner after cleaning, reducing labor costs.

The media could not be loaded. So far this thing is as advertised. It’s pricey but to me it’s worth the money. In the end I think it’s more about how long the battery lasts so time will tell if this is ultimately worth the price tag. The app works great. One thing to be aware of is you can’t communicate with the robot when it’s under water from the app. If you want to take it out of the pool or you want to change the cleaning mode you have to manually get it from the pool to the surface so it can pick up WiFi. Once it picks up WiFi you can control it from the app again. It runs on one charge an estimated 6 hours. Easy to charge too. It cleans the bottom of the pool and walls very well. Way better than the corded robot I had before. The pool skimmer feature is a bonus because I didn’t buy it for that. It works ok. To get the surface really clean it takes a really long time but generally gets the job done. Just be patient with this cleaning mode. In my pool the skimmer only works when the cover is opens when it’s closed it hits the cover and doesn’t go anywhere. One thing to note is that it is fairly heavy and you have to handle it every time you use it so be aware if that is an issue. One thing that I do is put it in at night and it’s is always waiting in the corner surface of the pool in the morning. All in all I’m very happy with it and the the little issues are not problems for me.

I was really looking forward to trying out the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra. The build quality is fantastic, and it's plenty powerful and well-made. Though it's on the pricier side, you can tell that it is well made and I expect to last. The design is sleek, and it feels like the quality is built to last. My pool isn't open yet here in CO, but I'm all set up already and waiting to try it out when it warms up. I'll provide an update once I pop it in the pool the first time, but so far I'm impressed and looking forward to putting it to work!

Many of the positive reviews are Vine Reviews meaning they got the product free.It is extremely heavy. I mean extremely. My wife and children can’t lift it easily. It doesn’t climb stairs well, at all. It actually doesn’t climb them at all. The sun shelf goes untouched. It also doesn’t do rounded edges well.The battery is quite annoying. It lasts 1 long clean. We can’t take it out to charge every day.The suction seems good as it picks up fine dirt. The packaging and unboxing was high quality. Believe me, I wanted this to be amazing. If it was half the cost, maybe. Not at this price though.

Day one of the Beatbot Ultra 2.Easy to charge. Dropped in the pool and 255 mins later it had done a reasonable job of cleaning the entire pool although it missed a few spots. In standard mode it spent 204 mins on the floor and only 51 mins on the walls which needed the most work. Will run it again in wall mode next time to see if it does a better job. Wouldn't go up to the ledge and didn't completely hit the steps but really, I can't expect a bot to do much of this. I love the methodical way it goes about the cleaning and I think it does a superior job compared to my last wired dolphin supreme CC. It climbs the walls well and I think once I put it in wall mode it should do a great job. Will update.
