I absolutely love the Tractive Pet Tracker! One of my favorite features is the leaderboard — it’s such a fun way to stay motivated and keep my dog active. It pushes me to make sure he’s getting enough exercise while adding a little friendly competition to our routine.The health monitoring is fantastic too. I can easily track his activity levels, rest time, and overall fitness, giving me real peace of mind. Plus, the battery lasts a couple of weeks on a single charge, which makes it super convenient and low-maintenance.Another thing I really appreciate is how small and lightweight the tracker is — you can see in the photo that it's barely noticeable when he’s wearing it. It doesn’t bother him at all, and he acts like it’s not even there.The GPS tracking has already been a lifesaver. My dog got out once, but I was able to find him quickly. The GPS was extremely accurate and updated in real-time, which made a stressful situation so much easier to handle.I also got the base station to help extend the battery life even further. It has a customizable range and works much better than just using WiFi alone. You just need a plug, and when setting it up, you can select it as a network for the safe zone. It's super easy to set up, and I love that it covers a much larger area than my regular WiFi. Thanks to the base station, the battery life is even better and gives me more flexibility when my dog is around the house or yard.Between the reliable tracking, health insights, long battery life, easy-to-use base station, and subtle design, Tractive has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my dog. I can’t recommend it enough!

Like many pet parents, a big fear is when you are out either hiking or just visiting somewhere, your dog just jumps and runs off (he isn't fully trained on STAY :) ) At least with this tracker I can easily track where is at. I like the history feature where it colors in the hot zone where he spends a lot of time so i can start there since that could be a hang spot.Luckily I haven't needed to use the tracker to find him but I am comfortable knowing I have this option. I really enjoy the battery saver for when he is inside the WIFI umbrella knowing that he is in your home.

This is my second Tractive purchase for my dog.I’ve used this GPS for the past year and have been extremely happy with it.While my dog was running around, the old GPS fell off the collar several times. Each time, I managed to find it—sometimes on the ground, sometimes even under the river—and it still worked fine. But the last time it fell, it finally stopped working. So I decided to buy this new 2025 version.I recently got a new dog, so I purchased two devices. I wasn’t aware that I needed to buy a separate plan for each dog, although I can use both within the same app. It was an extra expense, but that was fine—I really needed them.I take my dogs for off-leash walks in the woods, and one of them loves exploring new environments. She always comes back to me, but sometimes it takes her 15-30 minutes. With this GPS, I can see her whereabouts, which is such a relief.You can’t pinpoint their exact location, though, and I’ve noticed some delays.The satellite connection is okay.The GPS attaches to the collar with a very delicate band, which doesn’t last long. I use electrical tape to secure it to the collar. I have to remove it every time I charge the GPS and then tape it back on again.I’ve never tried other GPS devices for dog, including the more expensive ones, so I’m not sure if there are better models out there. But this one is affordable and pretty dependable.

I really wanted to like this, but it has two huge problems: 1.) if a smaller dog, and by this I mean anything under 25 pounds, or a more svelte dog with a thinner neck, this is going to be very bulky; and 2.) because you need a subscription to use this device, you have no option to go month to month- you have to buy it in your increments.

Great tracker. We love all the wellness features, and the LED light is really helpful at night knowing where the dog is in the yard. Only problem is the rubber clip. Ours had 2 of the fasteners snaps within the first month and a half, or I would have given 5 stars.

The device provides relatively accurate and timely locations for your pet. It was very helpful in providing information about the whereabouts of my when my dog ran after some deer into a wooded area. It was tracking slightly behind but was accurate enough for me to get to her before she got into a more dangerous area. It’s very comforting to be able to see where she is at any given time when hiking off leash. The app is easy to navigate with bonus features to track the health and fitness of your pet and even get to know other users nearby. The way the rubber straps are used to secure the device to the color tends to pull/catch my dog’s longer hair but not too badly.

Love it. I wanted this for when my dog decides to chase a coyote on our walks in the woods (has happened several times, and then he can’t find his way back to me because he’s gone so far.) I needed the live tracking for that. And it’s certainly live and updates every couple seconds when you turn on the live tracking mode. Battery only needs to be charged like once every 2 weeks or so. Signal hasn’t been an issue for me at all. The phone app works great. And it’s really cheap compared to other options but doesn’t feel cheap at all. The wellness tracker tracks his activity, you can set activity goals, check out local and global leaderboards for activity. It tracks sleep and barking to let you know if your dogs been waking up or barking more than usual. The sound and light on it are kind of useless though especially with a long haired dog, you can’t see it well through the hair and you have to be real close to hear it. Still give it 5 stars though. Does exactly what I needed and more that I didn’t know I wanted.
