It's amazing. Easier to clean my guns now
This stuff is totally different from other gun lubes. I can feel the difference, especially when I've put a lot or rounds down range. So smooth. It keeps working and working and doesn't break down. It's amazing. Easier to clean my guns now, much quicker, and this stuff doesn't smell. If you want your gun(s) to run properly then you should try this MC-10. You won't regret it. I'd never go back to the old lubes.

I feel there are better products out there
I love Otis products, but I had stayed away from MC-10 due to the ludicrous price. However, after it has recently fallen under $10 I decided to give it a try.Unlike another review, I don’t think the quantity is bad, especially with the included cleaner. However, the installation system is not great. There are many areas of a gun that need detailed installation, and this product does not allow that without a lot of unnecessary waste. Additionally, you’ll need at least one other product to clean, lube/protect your barrel.Once applied, I was disappointed at how my gun felt. The product appears to dry almost like a dry lube does. I’m not impressed so far, but I’m going to give this a shot on one of my AR’s through a couple cleanings. If anything changes, I’ll update my review.UPDATE 3/17/20I gave this a shot for as long as I could. Between August 2019 and March 2020, I put approximately 1800 rounds of 5.56/.223 down range using an AR extensively cleaned and lubricated with MC-10. Ultimately, I do like it as a lubricant. Especially when used in conjunction with the MC-10 grease. Otis is correct when they say it gets better with use, and as it works it’s way into the gun. That being said, my gun has gotten dirtier and dirtier as more rounds were fired (of course) and the “cleaner” provided with MC-10 is not strong enough. Not too mention, the amount of cleaner needed to make any impact on the crud, greatly outpaces the amount of lubricant used. Leaving you with one product but not the other. It’s quite possible my AR would have kept running without a failure. However, I just do not maintain my weapons that way. Especially living in humid Texas, I need to know my guns are cleaned, oiled and protected. Ultimately, I have moved this weapon over to Slip 2000, which is what I tend to use on my AR’s.After prolonged use, I would keep this item at 3 stars. It’s use as a lubricant standout, but there are other products on the market more deserving of my money.UPDATE 7/16/22I noticed that Otis has completely rebranded this product and no longer even sells the cleaner. This is somewhat hilarious to me, as their initial claims where that you had to use their specific cleaner or the lubricant was degraded and/or removed from the weapon. This is a decent lubricant, but it should have been sold as a stand alone product from the start….Trying to bundle it with a cleaner that was not only useless, but apparently not even needed is obnoxious and clearly just a justification to charge more.Since Otis is essentially admitting this iteration of the product is pointless. I’m lowering my rating to 1 star.*******************************I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. Not worth the money in my opinion
I was excited to try this MC-10 stuff for myself after hearing a little about it and reading a little about it.Turns out its just a 1 fl oz spray bottle of "lube and protect" that I'm ever going to use again and to be honest I probably wont use it.The cleaner sucks, it seems like it's just made to take this oil off and light dirt. In my honest opinion I would have been better off saving my money and buying Battle Born solvent and oil, or hoppes 9, or break free or really just anything that's not $30 for a laughable quantity
