Installed this and added to the network using the free AP. It can then talk to any or all of the radiator thermostats you have installed and turn on the boiler when one of them needs heat.So I turned off the house thermostat and now use only this for the rads.Easy unit and great functionality. The software makes it very easy

The Homematic IP system appears to be brilliant for home automation. Now you can't do absolutely whatever you'd expect to but it is easy and intuitively to use. I had an issue where would not re-connect to the Internet (Yellow light) right away after a brief power outage but eventually did so after some 30-60 minutes hence only the 4 stars. Still, a pleasure to work with.

With the cloud you can reach it easily with your Smartphone for free and the best it works with Amazon Alexa.Also I can recommend the english Homematic Forum that helped me a lot !5 of 5 Starts from my site.
