AGPTEK IPX8 Waterproof Mp3 Player with Screen, FM Radio and no cell phone need to operate.
This waterproof Mp3 player with screen and FM radio, which doesn't need a cell phone to work, is exactly what I want. I gave it 4 stars because it is difficult for me to switch from FM radio to Mp3 player. I have purchased 5. I use one player for Mp3 player only, and one for FM radio only, because of the difficulty I have of going from Mp3 to FM. I lap for one hour 5 days a week. I have found no problems with the run time or battery. I swim inside a building and the sound is fine. It is easy to charge and to put songs on the MP3 player. I just purhased #4 and #5, because 2 weeks ago the second one I purchased will not turn on. It will charge when plugged into my computer, but it will not turn on. I have had this type of player for years, however the 2 different brands that I really enjoyed are no longer available. I find that there are no MP3 players with FM radios with screens available that do not need a cell phone to operate. That being said I will continue to buy this one. Delivery is fast and price is right.

Way too thick, Catches water on flip turns, Muddy Bass,
Review Updates,After giving this player a second try, I am feeling a little better about it. I wore it for almost 2 hours during a 5K swim of various sets ( IM, Free, Pull, underwaters kick ). I swapped to the larger Trees for the ear buds, and now they stay more secure in my ears, and the bass sounds a little better as well, still not perfect, but its a lot better than before. I think part of the problem is the drivers on these are rather large, especially when compared to other swim buds. making it hard to press them deep into your ear. Only issue is when taking the ear buds off between sets so I could talk with my swim friends, when I would go to try to put the earbuds back in, it took some effort. Its balance, they are extra soft, which makes they comfortable, but then they also very easily squish instead of going deep into your ear canal. This time instead of clipping them onto my goggle straps vertically, I decided to rotate them 90 degrees. This helped a little with reducing the drag, but still on flip turns I would feel it tugging more than I would like.Over all the screen is a nice feature, but for swimming completely not needed, unless you want to manage your playlists directly on the device. I typically swim listening to the same 50 or so tracks in a loop. I still feel the Clip is too thick, and this player is too large. Needs to be much smaller. I know they boast of the long batter life, but really nobody is going to swim for 12 hours straight. I think 4-6 hours battery life would be more than enough. I have decided to revise my original rate from 2 stars to 3 stars. Its not terrible, but not perfect either. I will continue to revise my review over my next few swims, so report on how they are holding up.Original ReviewI was really hoping this would work, as I have tried just about every other Swimming MP3 player they sell on Amazon. I am now considering returning this only after 1 swim. Getting music loaded on it was easy as every other player I have used. Assuming you are just dragging and dropping MP3s onto it. The menu was easy to figure out. However this is only when you are looking at it. When you have it clipped onto your goggle straps on the back of your head, its hard to remember what button does what other than the play / pause button, and when you hit the wrong button you end up having to take it off to look it and it and navigate it back to the correct menu setting. I would get the music started then get it clipped onto my goggle straps. But in the process its too easy to hit one of the buttons by accident, cause the music to stop and it to navigate into the menu somewhere, causing you to take it off again.Audio Quality. The audio quality lacks any punch to the bass. I tried a few different sets of ear buds and they all had the same result. If you turn it up, the bass gets muddy fast, giving you that classic ghetto Blown Subs in the back of your buddy's old car. I tried the different EQ settings, and even though some were a little better than others, none of them got the bass right. If you like to listen to music that is high on treble, and mid range, this player would work, but if you like good clean punchy Bass, don't even consider this player.Poor design, and ClipWhoever designed this ether never did any swimming, or if they did they never put their face in the water, or did any flip turns. This thing is unfortunately thick! and the clip is not very strong. The result is on flip turns when you push off the wall, you will feel it tugging on the back of you head. Its to the point where the water rushing by ripped it off my goggle straps twice. The included short cord ear buds were a good length, but once again the coiled part of the wire, would catch the water. The earbud tips were soft, making them very comfortable, but getting them pushed deep into your ears was not easy as they tend to squish. If you barely put your face in the water, don't do flip turns, and don't care about bass in your music, this MP3 player is not a bad deal, I only have used it for one swim, and it didn't leak. I can't comment on how long it would last, but for me the poor design and feeling like a water catching brick strapped to the back of your head was just too much.

A GOOD waterproof MP3 Player
I use this unit while I exercise in a pool. I appreciate the good sound and especially the visual display. I can see the songs and select which one I want to hear. Many other waterproof units do not have a visual display.

Great for the price.
1) It is bulky, but you still won't notice it.2) The sound can be adjusted: I have never tried a player that was a louder level of sound than this one! Awesome!3) The headphones.. the ear tips 'violate' your ears. You have to get a better pair because mine stops working after a long workout. They also sell headphones separately: the sound is not as good in them, but if you 'in the zone', you wouldn't care: just workout. The base sounds cheap, but it is still good quality for the price.4) The price is great - nothing can be better for this price.
