It was easy and fun to assemble. The instructions and pictures were well written. The adjustable misting feature works nice. It moves easily and has a locking front wheel. It is not loud so you can have normal conversation or read a book. I run it on low speed and it easily covers 400 sq ft. It's water usage is very efficient. A filled tank will last 12 hours easily. I added ice as suggested in the assembly instructions for the chilled breezy mist. This misting fan works as advertised. And it is not an eyesore.

Don’t expect any customer service if you have issues. They are unreachable and when you leave a message they promise to call you back the next morning. 5 messages and 5 mornings later no phone call. Had issues with the drain lines after putting it together. Eventually I took it apart myself without help from the warranty department and figured out the problem. After putting it back together it works great. Mist sprays evenly without dripping all over the place. Also as a side note the assembly instructions are deficient in many ways. Had to use common sense to figure it out. All in all the fan is great but customer service is a complete joke. Amazon should stop selling their products until they can have an accesible customer service department.

I am so glad that I purchased this misting fan. My wife and I were looking for something sturdy that would keep our large deck cool while we have guests over or for just enjoying our morning coffee, and this product was truly worth every penny.It’s been great. I hoped it wouldn’t be loud or leaky, and it wasn’t like that at all. Everyone can easily hear each other around it. We’ve stayed outside on the deck longer than we normally would because of this fan. Even our dogs love it.We’ve enjoyed having it for other uses, too. My daughter wanted to run a lemonade stand in our front yard, so we rolled the fan out and locked it into place while she sold her drinks. The next day, we used it in the front yard so my wife could have a cool spot for garage sale shoppers. There are two controls on the unit — one for the fan and one for the mister. It kept the area cool, even when someone did not want the mist on them.I highly recommend this fan for anyone looking for a portable, reliable, and quiet way to keep an outdoor space cool and comfortable.

Someone described the product as "easy and fun" to assemble. That's subjective. It takes two able-bodied people. The instructions are photos of what it should look like at each step of assembly. How to get there is anybody's guess. I went out and bought a socket wrench set and another tool for $50. It's doable but if I'd had a handyman it would have been worth it and made assembly "fun and easy" for us. That said I am glad I $prung for the larger version with the 12 gal water tank. It takes care of our patio (30 x 50) and does a good job. It would be easy to maneuver over a smooth surface. Over flagstones and filled with water the fan is heavy over any bumps. Highly recommended.

First make sure all the parts are there. Compare them to the assembly video. I was missing washers and had to go get some. Look for all the parts, look in the tank for parts and instruction sheet. Keep instructions for operation but they are useless for assembly. Watch the video while assembling. You will need one more socket for assembly. A very large one. When operating the fan and mist the fan needs to be in an upright position, not tilted in any way otherwise water will pour out of the basin below the fan (see photo). And you can't have the mist on full blast because drainage will not keep up. Make sure the drainage tube is not kinked otherwise water will not drain back into the tank. There is a tube leading into the tank that was severely "pre" kinked so it didn't drain. I've somewhat unkinked it but will probably have to get another tube from the hardware store. Depending on the hardness of your water, you might want to use distilled water in the tank so you don't get white spots on your bricks or whatever your patio has for flooring. When placing the fan in position, the ground needs to be level otherwise it will roll. There isn't a lock on the wheels. A doorstop will work. And it's loud, very loud. Louder than I expected it to be. I'm going to keep it since it would be next to impossible to disassemble and send back, in the 3 boxes it came in! Would I recommend this for home use, probably not. The noise from the fan is the main reason.

Misting fan was delivered very quickly and was in great condition. It came in 3 boxes that were clearly marked as to what was in each box. It took me 20 minutes to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. The fan is sturdy and will be perfect for under my awning for parties and outdoor dinners. I like the variable mist control and ease of moving the unit around. I will probably use it on lower settings for dinners and turn it up to max when a lot of people are on the patio. It says it can last up to six hours on 1 fill up. We have a party this weekend so we will see how it goes. I will update the review after this weekend on the run time.

Have had the product for 16 months. Used it 4 times in the hot months for our patio seemed to work great. 3 weeks ago tried to use it for a back yard party. It wouldn’t work and continually tripped the GFI outlet. Finally got ahold of someone who told me it was out of the 1 year Warranty... sorry... my cost per use was about $130

Loved this bought two one for pot belly pig doesn’t get the ground wet nice cool mist and works great at 115 degrees outside love the fact it is portable can use it to sit outside bbq etc only wished it had a height adjustment to lower it a little more to ground for the pig
