Works great
Works great for bench or stand alone 4-20mA testing of valve positioners and other DCS inputs

Absolutely amazing for the price!
Our company has designed very unique high speed data acquisition systems for NASA in support of propulsion testing for the past 35 years. We have had numerous function generators in our labs, but none that have provided all the functions this Koolertron provides. This little box is amazing! Not only is it extremely accurate, it provides 17 different functions with ranges from 2mV to 20V pp (20V on Sine wave only) and for only 110 bucks. Just unbelievable.

Work great for the money!
The media could not be loaded. Works good, has pretty good instructions. Barely had to use them if I’m honest, the interface is pretty easy to use.The stability of the signal isn’t perfect. But I Never expected it to be in this price range. I’m seeing sub 1% deviation tho. Can’t really ask for more than that. Priced around and checked reviews before I bought this unit.Extremely happy. Definitely the most bang you’re gonna get for the buck…Comes with several different kinds of cable too.. that was a nice bonus. Heck 1/4 the cost is worth the cables it comes with…

Great little testers
Great little testers for 4 to 20ma.

It seems to be working
Since I can’t hear the frequency being emitted, i decided to try out an app that is a spectrum analyzer, and upon holding the coil up to my device, it read the frequency that I had dialed in. Different modes give different intensities of that signal (e.g: Sine, Sawtooth, etc.) The strongest reading was detected using Half-wave and Lorenz modes.

Easy to operate
This is a very nice device with lots of easy to operate features. I particularly liked the ability to store and recall multiple configurations.

Not sure how it works, but it works
I used this to send a 0-10v signal to some DC fans on our fan-assisted heating and cooling products in our design studio. This helps to simulate a BackNet or Building Management System which would utilize a 0-10v signal to control fan speed, as opposed to our other automated control options. We may need to get more of these so we can take them to job sites and demo / troubleshoot our fans. I hardly know anything about electrical, but I figured this out on the first go. Does exactly what we hoped it would.
