Weedol 015001 Fast Acting Weedkiller, 1 Litre Spray Gun, Multicolored

Good price for a great defence against weeds.

For the second time the container arrives damaged. For a heavy item the bit of brown paper wrapped around the lid is insufficient. Emptied it into a spray bottle to use. But when buying again would use a local store.Good product though, works well on everything spray it on.

So, over the years I've been using this or Roundup, and in more recent times I've been using this and, short story, it usually works a treat.Things growing through my patio or edges of the driveway, for example, are turned brown and dying usually within hours, and certainly by the next day or so. Other weeds may need another application or two, but, it eventually does the job. Good job application is easy - you just hook up the nozzle/tube to the bottle. pump the trigger a few times and away you go.The only real negative that I have is the horrible sickly sweet odour it gives off, which lingers for some time.Great at killing weeds, not so great on the nose.

Bought this type of Weedol as have tried several other types that have failed miserably.Worked well and item was delivered quickly.

The built in sprayer is utterly useless. So i poured the liquid into an old worktop anti bac bottle. Then it worked easily and definately killed all the weeds in my front gravel garden. As for main back lawn i wouldnt trust it at all. Ive used 4 in 1 before (lush lawn, kills weeds and moss, adds grass seeds and fertilises them) but they just killed the grass, the weeds flourished, and no new grass grew. SPEAK TO AN EXPERT before trying these 4 in 1's etc A regular weedkiller (and there are many) that kills everythting is fine to spray on weeds but id get advice on your lawn. Really does what it says on the can

This weedkiller has to be sprayed to the point of run-off. However, it is not a spot weedkiller (for that you need the deep rooted version), but one that is intended to cover a wide area of less determined weeds.With this pack (the large sprayer) it is not possible to spray 'to the point of run-off' unless you are just targetting one weed. It would be so much easier to just pull up the weed if that was the case - as I said, this is not designed for dandelions, docks or buttercups, but for lesser weeds. The spray, on either setting, is weak and narrow, and very hard work.If this is the right weedkiller for you, you would be much better getting a pressure sprayer and a pack to dilute yourself, then you will be able to cover a reasonable area to the extent that is necessary.

I have been using this product for many years and it actually does what it says it does --- it kills weeds in 1 hour.
