Buy, buy, buy
Buy,buy, buy these really work. I am buying more. Used during graduation backyard party, and not one complaint of bugs from ANYONE.

Best repellent I've ever used
These things actually work. I bought them for a little "patio" I made under my back porch, where you'd pull into a basement garage. (We do not use the garage.) There is a drain in the middle of the "floor" that collects standing water occasionally. We put mosquito bits in the drain once a week to kill the larvae, but the adult buggers keep coming around. They must really hate the smoke, and since these things are mostly sawdust, there's a lot of smoke. They smell like campfire smoke when they burn, which I don't mind. If you sit too near them, you will also smell like campfire smoke, so be aware of that.I haven't seen a single mosquito since trying these, and they do burn the full 2.5 hours they say they're supposed to. Directions say to place them twelve feet apart. (Picture shows one stick in each corner of a 12 foot square space.) One stick was plenty for about a 15'x10' space. I tried two at first, per the directions, but that was overkill, my eyes were watering from the smoke.I will definitely keep these on hand from now on!

Works very well...
We just used these in the Sequoia National Forest in the Summer. It did much better than the candle type citronella buckets. We used them from 2 pm and into the night. For it's purpose, it works well. They burn longer than rated, but imagine if there was more of a breeze, these would burn much faster. We experienced a slight breeze, enough to spread the scent across a large park table. We put them approximately 20+ feet apart. For an average campsite, I would imagine you would need to burn at least two to three of them at any given time. At 2.5 hours or more, you'll go through about four to six of them a night. The caveat to these types of deterrents is that these are essentially incense sticks. In dry conditions, you have to be sure you have to place in an appropriate place to ensure it catches the ashes. They emit a nice lemongrass scent. Nothing to potent, but you know it's there. As a camper I like the simplicity of these things. They're packed in a rigid enough box, so you can put them in a pack without damaging them, read: they're easy to pack them. You can always snuff them out and restart them if needed. At 12 sticks that burn about 2.5+ hours, that's about 30 hours of burn in the box if you used them one at a time. For this price it's a decent value. I also use Thermacels, which are more potent and bit more expensive, but you need the pads and butane to fuel them. This is a great alternative and you don't need anything else for it to work.Once again, due to the value, simplicity of use, and easily packable, I would highly recommend.

2nd best behind a fogged
Honest to God these do work!!!! We had a yard party yesterday and right before dark I set these up every 12 feet like instructed and not one person got bit by a mosquito! The smell is natural, but strong and these were easy to use! 2 of the 8 I used did need to be re-lit but I don’t think I let them flame long enough at start up. Came out this morning and there is no sign of them. They naturally burned away! The only thing I would caution is to let people know they are there because I did have a teenager with her he’s sun her phone walk right into one lol. We will most definitely be ordering more of these and passing the word around! We live in a wooded neighborhood in MN with ponds near by and honestly not one mosquito bite from about 24 people! 5 stars for sure!

works but only if nearby
these work but only if you are standing nearby the candle..you must be nearby for it to work...unfortunatley it doesn't give up much radius but if you're working on an outdoor project, definitely have this nearby

So far, so good!
Put one out on my deck near where I sit in the evening with my dogs. I used to get several mosquito bites, which I HATE. I tried these...I put just one out and lit it and I haven't gotten one single bite since. The smell may not be for everybody, but I don't mind it at all; it's kind of like some incense sticks, maybe a little stronger.Im very happy with these and will buy them again thru the summer and Fall.

Decent scent and easy to use
Simple to light and put out of you don’t use the whole stick. The scent doesn’t bother me and it seems to be keeping all the bugs away. I stick them in flower pots around the patio or directly into the ground.

Mosquito Guard: More Like Mosquito Invitation!
Well, let me tell you about this Mosquito Guard — it promises to keep those pesky bloodsuckers at bay, but I think I accidentally invited them to a party instead! I set it up with high hopes, ready to enjoy my backyard in peace. Instead, I ended up as their all-you-can-eat buffet!I’m pretty sure the mosquitoes looked at me and thought, “Oh, this must be the VIP section!” I swear they were having a family reunion, buzzing around like they were on some kind of tropical vacation. I even tried charming them with my best dad jokes. “What do mosquitoes and vampires have in common? They both suck!” Spoiler alert: it didn’t work.In the end, the only thing this Mosquito Guard successfully deterred was my confidence. It’s like a bouncer that lets everyone in, but me? I’m left swatting at imaginary friends while the mosquitoes throw a dance party on my arms. If you’re looking for a way to attract mosquitoes rather than repel them, this product is your best bet!So, if you want to test your endurance against these tiny tormentors, grab this Mosquito Guard. Just remember to bring some bug spray and a good sense of humor. Happy swatting!
