Shield One Advanced Nano Hydrophobic Coating - More Than a Detailing Spray, Enhances Gloss on Painted and Ceramic Finishes, Use on Glass, Plastic, Interior, Wheels, Etc (12 oz)

I used it on my 16 year old 2500HD body and windows. Didn't really see the results I expected from the description of this product. Also applied it to my 75" Sony LED TV and made slight difference in picture quality. Seemed a tad bit more vibrant the picture. Then applied it to my 2011 VN1700 and it made my paint and chrome look like mirrors! The gas tank is nice and slick and my hand just glides down it nice and slick. The chrome looks amazing! I find myself most of the times when I go into the garage lifting up my VN1700's cover and just stare at it as it looks so awesome. Also applied it to my brand new Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer The glass and metal on both appliances are nice and slick just like the results of my VN1700. I've ordered Topcoat F11 a couple years ago and though expensive for the F11, it gave excellent results. However this less expensive product gave a better slick feel after it dried. Added it to my VN1700's shield nice and heavy. Looking forward to how it will work once riding season which is not far around the corner for me and if it prevents insects that come into contact with my VN1700 , make it easy to repel and slide off. Usually when I'm riding down the interstate and hit insects @ 90 mph, they stick to shield and paint pretty solid and require little effort with elbow grease to clean off their remains. The Topcoat F11 made protecting my VN1700 much better after first coat applied and little effort to have to clean off their remains all it took was microfiber towel and spray bottle of diluted soap inside spray bottle.

I'm not saying that my review holds any more weight than anyone else's, but I will say that I'm a bit of a clean vehicle nut and wash/wax just about every week. AND I did get to see how it held up under the rain as my area had a brief rain about 8 hours after I applied a coat. So I can at least give you my opinion based on that...I have used many products to "wax" my car, and decided to try this based on a popup ad. I was taken in by a video of a bucket of dirty water sheeting off of the white finish of a vehicle like some kind of miracle. Well, it isn't exactly accurate...but there are some good things.PROs*VERY easy to apply - mists on, wipes off...super easy.*Vehicle does get a good deep "wet" look shine after application. Just doesn't last past the first rain.*Feels very smooth to the touch*I used it almost every part of the vehicle - chrome bumper, plastic mirror housing, glass - it all looked great - until it sprinkled 8 hours later.CONs*Protection does not last nearly as long as they may have you believe. We had a brief shower overnight after my first go with this product, and the smooth finish is gone...water did not sheet off.*Bottle design makes it virtually impossible to spray without pinching your skin in the trigger (try it and you'll see what I'm talking about.*Not any better, IMO, than a good car wax.So my favorite is by Chem Guys - Their butter wax is killer stuff. I strayed away from that being fooled by marketing ad, and gave it a go. I was under the impression that this was ceramic coating, and that may be my bad for not reading close enough. They used ceramic in the description and not to describe the product as a ceramic wax - again, my fault for not reading close enough, but this product looks very similar to other ceramic waxes.They also say it can be used on auto glass (kind of like RainX), but let's just put it this way - A day after polishing the windows with this stuff, I went to get another bottle of RainX.Bottom line, I got a the shine they promised, but the durability seems to be seriously lacking. Nano? Maybe...Hydrophobic? Not from what I can see. They say dirt and water are repelled...that just simply was not my experience.I hope this review helps.

The product is very easy to use. I used it on my 2014 truck and it came out really nice. Took the truck on dusty roads in the mountains and when I got home the truck was a mess. I took it to the car wash and everything washed right off. Didn't leave any spots and the water sheeted right off. I just used it on our new car. This car has a coating from the dealership already on it. It went on easy but it took me three microfiber towels to finally get it buffed out. Possibly because of the factory installed finish. Once I finally got it all buffed off it looks great. We will see how long it stays on before I have to apply again.

Skeptical about the new "nano-tech" products out there. Bought this stuff for the price. Impressed! I have only put it on (diligently) twice since buying the truck in Jan 2019(2018 Sierra). Holy cow, really keeps the truck clean. Use it as a BSSK (Bird Sh!t Suppression Kit) as well and then do a little more when needed. Spot clean.Nothing but jealousy and "Wow"s from people on how little I have to do to keep the truck clean. Already purchased a couple more and have done wife's '13 CRV and really keeps the black/grey plastics the color they are supposed to be as well.Wheels stay cleaner longer too! Great product for the price!!!

I have never used a product like this. I figured why not give it a try. So I washed and waxed my Jeep and slathered this pink stuff all over it. My jeep looked great. As Murphy's Law would have it, it rained the very next day, and the day after that, and the day after that. 6 days later when the rain stopped, I sprayed this stuff on my jeep once again and wiped it down real quick and boom. Looks like I just had her detailed. The water beads off real nice, I noticed it while it rained. I sprayed this stuff on my windshield, windows, mirrors and headlights....it works well...I plan on buying more when it runs out

I purchased the item to try and keep my vehicle in top good looking condition. So far, I have completed two wheels in between the rainstorms. On these wheels, lot of dirt came off on the towel I was using and I cleaned them first. The rain has persisted this week and I won't get a chance until next week to finish the wheels. I also used it on my cell phone and it looks great. send me this review again in two weeks and I will update it. So far, so good.
