This is by far the best option for me out there. The size is perfect for a 12 oz bag. The color and the look are awesome. Just fits well with my set up. So far I have been using it for 5 months and it has worked flawlessly. Keeps the coffee fresh for longer. I like the vacuum seal and no issues there.Most satisfying part is opening it. Takes a bit of time to close it but I can live with that.Overall recommend it.

best vacuum coffee canister.i use it for camping and never looses it vacuum.For those of you that don't want to spend arm and a leg for the automatic pump this is great. it takes no more than 10 seconds to seal it.

Amazon has their reviews default to “TOP REVIEWS” and that will fool a LOT of people. If you sort by “MOST RECENT”, you’ll see that this device is failing most people who are currently purchasing and trying to use this product. Probably 85% of recent reviews are 1-2 stars.When we purchased this, I read a lot of reviews (January) because I hadn’t purchased one like this before… especially not one that would cost me $50.This one has great reviews at the time, but with over 4,500 reviews… I really believed I was getting a product that would last. We convinced ourselves “you buy quality only one time” and spent the $50 for a jar to hold coffee beans. Again, a splurge, but we also spend too much money on coffee beans, so this product makes sense!! Definitely first world problems here. However, throwing $50 in the trash fits more under the umbrella of “All World Problems”. Especially in the economy we are living in right now!What’s most upsetting- the fact that MOST recent reviews say that this company has horrible customer service. That just shows that they don’t care about the customer experience. Perhaps this started at a quality product and after 3000 great reviews… they dropped off the planet, went with a cheaper manufacturer, etc. That’s such gross behavior on their part. I could be wrong, but it seems like it lasts (in working order) until just past when the return window closes. So, we are all out of luck with Amazon’s help and we are also not getting any help from the maker of this item!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! Or get it and return it every month or two before the return window closes. At least they’d be out the money they stole from so many of us!If the makers of the jar want to reach out to me, I’d be happy to discuss my situation.

I like the smooth style - no external pump mechanism. And it's really neat how just twisting the top back and forth pumps out the air.

Solid design, keeps a good amount of coffee fresh. Easily fits a normal sized bag. Durable materials. My only complaints is how much effort it takes to get all the air out when it's less than half full. I use it more as long term storage, rather than a daily driver because of that.

I like that it works well and is durable. It stores my coffee and the small size helps with my purchase of fresh coffee. It is easy to open but I wish the green dot was more visible when securing the container. As the coffee is depleted, the twist-turns can be annoying at times but still gets the job done.

I admit I should have done more research. My experience matches others who have found that the seal just doesn't last more than two or at most three days. I bought it to keep coffee beans fresh (or fresher) after opening a new vacuum-sealed bag, but I don't go through enough coffee to need to replenish my hopper after 2 or 3 days. And I don't have the time or patience to keep an eye on the seal. Shame. It's a beautiful container, but it just doesn't serve my purposes. I recommend this be bought only by people who will access the contents within a couple of days.

This container is ok. Better than nothing I guess. But it releases the airlock seal every 5-7 days letting O2 in. I have to re-pressurize the vacuum seal at least once a week.
