I have tried at least a half dozen similar products and this is by far the best. I just works...period. And takes up very little space in the freezer.One thing to note, you should tempter your ice before using it if you don't want it to crack. That means either letting it sit for a couple of minutes before using or running it under cold water for a few seconds. This will not only prevent cracking but also make the ice appear even more clear in your drink.

This worked great right out of the box! I was using silicone molds I got from grocery store that only produced cloudy ice. This produced clear ice using water from filter from refrigerator. I was pretty amazed how much a difference this makes using the same water. I had no trouble releasing the mold from the can. Came with plastic container to store ice in, tongs for grabbing the ice and the cup/molds. Seems pretty high quality. In the glass I could read the acid etched marking on the bottom of the glass through the ice ball (magnified).

First use was extremely difficult to open, but has become much easier. The outer container is longer than necessary so a lot of unused ice in bottom but otherwise good

These ice ball makers are the best I've ever seen. They make perfectly round, clear ice balls. You have to be choosy about the kind of water you use. I have hard water here so I've been using the filtered water from my refrigerator. And the other thing is, don't press the mold in all the way, too tight. I let it sink in on its own and then press down slightly to get some water through the top hole. That's all you have to do. I put them in the freezer and hooray hooray, I have wonderful ice.

Works very well, makes a large sphere of ice. There is a bit of a seam and how clear it is is debatable (I just used unboiled tap water) but hey, it's ice. Easy to fill and takes just a few minutes to release the ice. Uses minimal freezer space too.

I really wasn’t expecting much having tried other products in the past that were just OK. I have been making sheet cubes using a small cooler but that was a mess and the cubes were difficult to make the right size.The product itself seems sturdy and well made. The instructions are simple.The results: Great. Perfect shape and very clear! I’ll be making one cube a day to build up a few.Highly recommend.

Works really well - good price point. Take your time putting the mold into the cup and give it a full 24 hours and you will have really nice clear ice.

I've tried virtually every mold out there and none come as close to shaper quality as this one. I tested tap, filtered from the fridge, bottled, and distilled. Distilled came out terrible, tap and bottle were OK, but the filtered water from the fridge was near perfect. I didn't have any trouble removing the mold either. Some people are saying you need at least 24 hours but I only did 20 hours as instructed by their manual. My freezer is set to 0°f. I'm definitely going to order another set
