Amazing product, even better customer service! I looooove this lamp.Assembly took less than 5 minutes, wax took just about 4hrs to melt first time.I have it on a timer and it looks AMAZING. Color is vibrant, base is sturdy.Do not hesitate on getting it!!

This thing is fantastic. Takes a while to warm up of course, but once it gets going it’s phenomenal. It’s also almost as tall as I am. I love the contrasting colors and the foot button to turn on. Highly recommend. Quick shipping and came undamaged with an extra bulb. The base is nice and heavy and everything connects together in a way that keeps it stable. Definitely will be buying other colors to add to my collection.

Insanely difficult to place the light bulb in the socket! However, once that's done, the lamp is a beautiful fun addition to any room. Easy to operate pedal switch. Arrived very quickly.

It does look, dare I say, elegant and futuristic rather than cheap or kitschy vintage as is typical for a lava lamp. Fairly easy to assemble, really appreciated the supplied gripper tool to seat the bulb securely into the base to keep it clean from finger oils that can shorten the life of the bulb. There are some minor scratches on (the inside of?) the glass tube but they're only visible when the scratches are viewed through the tube (magnified). The area of the base nearest the light bulb gets extremely hot but that's par for the course for a lava lamp - although this style is reasonably sturdy with a wide weighted base and the lava tube "locks" nicely into the base with a twist, these are NOT safe for little kids, by design. Any kids around the lamp need to be old enough to understand a talk about how hot they get, besides how fragile they can be.The room my lamp is kept in is in a semi-basement, halfway below ground, so the temperature is regularly around 62-66 degrees F, but the lamp has no problem doing what it does and the bloops make it all the way to the top of the tube easily once it's been running for an hour or two. I have run it for as long as 10 hours at a stretch with no apparent issues. Bonus: since I got the one with colorless liquid and green lava, I accidentally discovered (this batch of) the green lava is fluorescent and glows bright green under UV light (as seen in second photo, illuminated with a UV flashlight) which adds another dimension to its display potential aside from being illuminated from below as usual.If you're torn between this type and the similar-style table-top version by another maker, have space for either, and can only get one, this is the one you'll want - it's worth the extra cost. I have had both and I can say with authority this one works much better and does not overheat the lava wax like that one did. This one also appears to be real brushed-finish aluminum instead of painted with silver paint. Not sure if there's a clear coat on the metal.

Works great! Takes a little bit to heat up but once it gets going it looks so cool. Very pleased with this item.

The light would not turn on. Tried both bulbs. Neither seemed to really fit into the socket correctly it felt loose and not secure no matter how far I pushed them into place. Hoping my replacement comes in better working condition
