When a game developer builds support for TrackIR directly into the code for their game, we call that game "TrackIR Enhanced". TrackIR is a new form of input that doesn't affect the mouse, keyboard and joysticks you are already using

Very easy to setup
Very easy to setup, easy to use and it transforms the "3d cockpit view" in flight sims and similar. I didn't like the baseball hat they use to mount the reflector frame on so I easily made up a clip-on arrangement for my computer specs using cable ties cut up and short lengths of plastic tube.

Great addition to gaming experience
I am a fan of flightsims - especially Microsoft's Flight Sim 2004. The ability to "look around" naturally in-game just as in real life has transformed it totally. The unit copies all of my head movements I can lean and move sideways, move closer or further from anything in the virtual cockpit, hunch down lower or stretch up to peer ahead over panels etc. I particularly like being able to open the canopy of a WW2 fighter and "lean out" to look past the long nose during taxying or on the approach. This is all because of the "6 degrees of movement" copied by the unit.It arrived well packaged in a blister unit. You get the receiver that clips to the top of your monitor and plugs in via USB, a metal frame that clips to a hat or headset and carries three reflectors for the receiver to "see", a baseball cap and instructions - no software - you are directed to the website to download the latest version. Check that your game is supported but most that could sensibly use it seem to be.Setup is simple and you can call up small view boxes to check the response once the trackIR software is running. Of course it has to amplify your head movements otherwise you could never look too far in any direction and still see the screen!. You can set how much it does that and how quickly with a little fiddling.I found it a bit odd at first but after the first hour of gaming it is second nature and very realistic. I imagine it would also especially suit first-person shooter games and anything where spatial awareness is needed. One thing I didn't like - the hat supplied so I just used one of my own. Later on (I am an inveterate tinkerer) I eliminated even the hat by adding a small removeable frame to my "computer glasses" - looks odd but since I need those specs anyway it saves wearing anything else.

Must buy if you play flight sim
Using this on IL-2 1946 mainly. And now I can't go back without Track IR.Just try it.Also you will be able to assign hat switch button on your joystick to other function instead of change sight which is fantastic.
