This really is a great flashlight. We had a major windstorm here the other night and I heard what I thought was a tree or tree limb fall and hit a building or a fence on the property. It was still before first light when I went outside to inspect. It was the first time I had used this light in the dark. It was fantastic; literally lighting up the tops of 100 foot tall trees at 200 feet away with no problem. I was really impressed. This is a great outdoor flashlight, especially in an emergency situation when you need to light up a large area quickly. The light is bright white, not the dull yellow of a traditional light. Even the medium setting had plenty of light. In fact, I think a low setting on this would be welcome; it is so bright you really can’t light up something close for very long, it is that bright. I wouldn’t use this indoors; I have smaller rechargeable LEDs for that purpose. The small side worklight is just gravy; this light at this price point is a winner even without them. It is a good size for an outside light, and plenty of grip as well. The zoom is also easy to use. Highly recommended.
