How great is this product? REALLY great! It is made of very sturdy, canvas type material. The pictures don't show the sides very well, but there are two handles on each side so that the hamper can be carried OR they can be folded on top of each other to make hole in the top. My son loves it this way, because he likes to pretend to play basketball with his laundry. SCORE! It makes children want to participate in laundry duty! I love the handles, as it makes it very easy to carry to the laundry room. It looks great standing straight up, or with the handles folded down. I really love that the design works for younger children as well as older kids. It is a precious design, but not too "babyish."I saw where other reviewers were saying it did not hold many clothes. I found the opposite to be true! Only my 5 year old sons clothes are put in this hamper, and it will hold approximately a weeks worth of clothes! In fact, I plan on purchasing another one for my sons stuffed animals, as it holds so much! I also saw that reviewers were complaining that the design wasn't a felt appliqué (as most of the other 3 Sprouts products are) but an iron on design. I have worked with lots of iron on designs on shirts, etc and those can fade, peel etc. This product is steam pressed, which is much more durable. I think it looks just as nice as the appliqués found on other 3 Sprouts products. The color is very vibrant.

We purchased this hamper recently for our nursery. Not only is it cute, but it is a lot bigger than expected and quite sturdy. This hamper should hold up to years of active use, which in our house involves our older daughter using it regularly as a hiding spot during hide and seek.The hamper stands well on its own and holds a lot of clothes, which can be a drawback if you procrastinate laundry like I do. Even when full, the large handles and tall/narrow shape make carrying easy. We previously used plastic hampers which are a pain to get through our narrow doorways, but no problems with this product.You can also fold the handles down to create a rounded opening at the top of the hamper. While this looks nice, it messes with my Kareem Abdul-Jabbar laundry hook shot, so I just leave the handles up to give me a better chance at getting the clothing in the hamper from across the room.The design is not a felt applique but rather is printed on. This seems to be a drawback for some of the other reviewers, but I don't mind it at all. The design is delightful and matches the nursery decor perfectly.

I love this hamper! It's the perfect size for a baby or toddler, the goat is super cute without being "cutesy," works fantastically for a gender neutral nursery, it's convenient with the opening that turns into handles, and I have been stuffing it with baby clothes and moving it from nursery to laundry room without any issues. I can't say how durable it will be with an actual toddler because my baby isn't here yet, but I've been purposefully opening and closing it for months now, shoving gifted clothes into it so that I can test it out. The one issue people have discussed that I sort of agree with is that once the handles have been opened and folded a few times, it loses it's shape some and the opening becomes smaller and smaller. What I did was sew some velcro where the handle is supposed to shut, and it keeps the opening nice and wide, as it should be. It wasn't a big deal, so I'm not docking any stars for it, but it would be nice for 3 Sprouts to go ahead and fix the issue themselves. Another thing: what's with all of the name-brand tagging, 3 Sprouts?? I get it: you want to advertise your brand, but I've actually removed every tag on every 3 Sprouts item I've purchased because it made the nursery look like the movie Wall-E after I had purchased several of your storage bins, with "3 Sprouts" standing in for "Buy n' Large" corporation. The logo was EVERYWHERE. They'd look so much better without "3 Sprouts" tagged on every piece in bright red letters against white.

This is such a cute and inexpensive hamper for babies and children! It’s very strong and holds a lot. I like that it is soft material so it can be folded and put in my car if I wanted. I see a couple reviews upset about the bottom being lined instead of solid, well in my personal opinion, I like that it’s lined; idk about you guys but if you smell what comes out of my 2 month old, then you surely wouldn’t want a solid bottom! The liner helps the clothes “breathe” so to speak, so that the hamper isn’t one big funky mess! I also have one for my 2 year old (the lion one) and I have the same great experience with it. After reading other reviews, I had reservations. I have a very sensitive nose, and if clothing got stinky in this, that would be a problem. And I worried it wouldn't stand up well.But it's perfect. No issues after many months of use now. It's very cute, and it's the perfect size for us. We have a different basket for towels and linens, this one gets clothes and sits on top of the one for towels. It's easy to carry, it stands up properly, and it doesn't get stinky. It has a good quality feel to it. I'm very pleased.

So far, so good. A few basics that weren't super clear from reading conflicting comments prior to buying:-The bottom lining is a layer of mesh, with complete coverage and no way for the content to fall out. We cloth diaper and felt comfortable using this hamper to put our son's used/ disassembled diapers in it. (Of course the "waste" is already flushed).-The hamper is very large. It also arrived in an unnecessarily large box. It came unfolded and un-flattened, so there were no lines or wrinkles that we had to worry with.-There was no smell upon arrival, no flaw in design. I know some people have had issue with the decal coming off, but this guy seems pretty solid on there.We love it! The only reason for 4 stars if because of the size, BUT the measurements are listed, so it's more of a shame on me for not looking close enough ;)
