first of all the item description claims 1650 feet of range and the instruction pamphlet clearly states up to 550 feet, that should have been my first tip off about the quality of the product. i can't tell you which is correct because i was using it in at close distances . i read and followed the set up and operation of the device per the instruction sheet included. i have a 20 month old siberian husky that wasn't reactive to any of the beeps or vibration even when the vibration was set at maximum (only the vibration and shock level are settable and i set the vibration at 99, tightened the collar to almost chocking level). i purchased this unit because of the non shock options, but in my experience they were both worthless. i had to adjust the shock to a very high (and in my opinion excessive) level (in excess of 90) before i was able to even see the dog react somewhat, and i wouldn't go higher because it wasn't an appropriate level to train any animal. my comparison is to a sportdog unit that a friend loaned me that had no vibration level (the reason for making this purchase), but at least i got the dog's attention at a very low shock setting. i am returning the unit as "does not work" because that has been my experience and i certainly wouldn't recommend this unit unless you are using it on a very small dog where it might be effective., but i wouldn't bet on it. don't waste your time or money (however inexpensive this is) and look for a better quality item.

I'm really excited for this collar! The collar itself is a silicone feeling material that is waterproof and easy to clean. Its rechargeable so no need to worry about batteries. The remote can be worn around your neck so it doesn't get lost and the range is perfect for our needs. I like that that this works for a wide weight range so that we can use it in both of our dogs and we don't have to buy to separate collars.

I bought this on the heels of a really horrible spray anti bark collar. From the very first time I have used it has performed exactly as advertised and better. Maybe I got a freaky strong battery, but using only the sound function (90%of the time) I can get 4 full days of battery life. My dog only requires the beeping. She responds to it each and every time. I highly recommend this product.

The remote battery lasts days before needing charged while the actual collar is dead by the end of the day. Would love it soooooo much more if it lasted long enough to do training

I have had experience with a number of different training collars and for the price, this one is very nice. The receiver is not as sturdy as some I've used, but again, it has out performed expectations.

This shock collar system is great! Everything works, except the shock level (even at its highest) is not strong enough for my dog to pay attention in order to behave correctly. She responds to the sound more than vibrate or shock. Customer service is excellent!

Worked well 75 percent of the time

Bought this item for a dog that barks excessively. It had to be turned up into the 90s before dog would react. Tried to use it within reason and not be excessive with it due to the high level I had to adjust it to for any type of response. The product stopped working after about a month and a half.
