Excellent Product With Professional Results (Use A Drill To Polish Your Headlights)
Discolored headlights are a real problem and Turtle Wax introduced this product a few years ago as a solution. Its strange that only the headlight restoration kit is promoted.. To use this headlight cleaner by hand, it requires some elbow grease to clean up the plastic. This is more like a cleaner wax for cloudy headlights and red tail lights that have yellowed from the sun. Keep in mind this is a fine plastic polish and not a heavy rubbing compound. This T-43 product is also effective on a rotary foam polishing pad with excellent results. This is the drill kit I use to polish my plastic lens to very good condition ZFE 3" Polishing Pad Kit TIP: when using a drill powered polishing pad, use low speed to prevent splatter as this polish is quite thin. Wash off any splatter because it may dry and become difficult to remove (typical of most polish or compounds). This cleaner sealant also does a great job cleaning plastic chrome on your vehicle and making it sparkle with a protective coating. Turtle Wax has made this product with ease of use and value in mind. Considering the price for this 9-oz bottle, it will last for a long time because I use about a teaspoon of product on each headlight for a maintenance cleaning. Reapply often to prevent your headlights from looking bad, this also helps with improved visibility after dark.

Excellent product "does the job" !!
I admit I was a bit skeptical about this product and its ability's to really clean & polish the light oxidization on a 2003 Lexus RX 300. I also need to mention that I had used the 3M lens cleaning disc kit 5 years back which worked very well but the lens had oxidized a bit sense then. The Turtle wax product did a great job cleaning and polishing both lens back to "almost" factory like new. The product is very easy to use and for the price I would highly recommend that you give this product a try. PS: Turtle very clearly mentions that for heavily oxidized lens you should use their other kit which is designed for that purpose.

Very good results!
Note that this product is intended for light oxidation…so I compounded using a wool pad and a heavy cutting compound. I then cleaned thoroughly and even used panel prep to make sure nothing was left behind. Then I buffed with this 2 in 1 and then polished with the 2 in 1. The results are very good. I can see at night!

Works very after several try's
I bought a used car for a spare. The plastic headlights cover was clouding. With this Turtle Wax, I had to use it several times to get the plastic clear. Got the driver side 100% and the other side about 95%. So, I am veery please with this product.

Not a panacea for really hard work.
Nothing really works without lots of scrubbing or sanding. I have been quoited $150 by dealers for clearing lenses.

Worked great - what to do with the other 8.5 ounces?
My 13-year old Ranger headlight covers were fogged badly, about like the translucence of an old ziplock sandwich bag, though not yellowed. Window cleaner first (lenses appear clear when wet, so no internal fogging of the headlight covers was present. After window cleaner, I applied a squirt to a cotton rag and rubbed in circular motions all over the lens until the turtle wax cleaner disappeared. Buffed with a clean dry cotton rag afterward, and voila! Clear lenses. It's only been about three weeks since the first application, but the acrylic wax coating left behind hasn't diminished much through several rains.I suspect that there's more acrylic wax than polishing compound in this, but that was all that was needed. Since I only used two squirts to clean-up two lenses, I'll be using it again and again for years -- maybe every time I wash the truck for 3-4 applications, then once or twice a year after that.Wally carried the other turtle wax kit that comes with wet-sanding papers, 4-oz of rubbing compound, and only only two packets of acrylic coating solution. That would be for heavily fogged or yellowed lenses, where the damaged plastic film has to be removed. But only two packets of the coating solution. Really?! Saves two buck, but you'd better get it right the first time, because there's no second chance on the acrylic coating provided in that kit.The T-43 is a better deal for lightly fogged lenses.

Easy to use and impressive results
I was having trouble driving at night. Had to use my brights a lot, especially in the country. Finally thought to inspect the headlight lenses. They were yellow, almost 80% opaque. I did some research. There's all kinds of recommendations out there: insect repellent, Water Dispersant solvent, toothpaste, automotive rubbing compound, etc. But this product seemed to have the best recommendations from actual users.I'm glad I tried it. The headlights are putting out a lot more light now.

An ok product
Does not work well if lights are extremely foggy. But it does clear it a bit
