Great project for kiddos. Batteries are not included.
It was packaged very well and had an awesome assortment of decorations and decals for the lanterns. The butterflies that are included are magnetic and attach to the jar lid really well.However, kids went to turn on the string lights after completing the lanterns and batteries are not included which bummed them out. Luckily, I had some glow sticks on hand.The battery box which has the on/off button and is what the string lights attaches to is poorly glued to the inside of the jar lid and when you go to press the button to turn on the lights it came completely detached on one of the jars. So a little flimsy there.Aside from that, it was a really great project that the kids enjoyed very much.

Cute little craft kit.
This is a cute kit and upon opening it, you'll see there are some very nice looking flowers and other items with which to design. It can DEFINITELY be messy though, so I really recommend adult help with this kit. LOTS of glitter, so be aware of that. End products looked nice though and our daughter liked it. $25 seems a little steep to me, but it's a nice box and nice product, so this would do well for a gift, too.

My granddaughter was excited about it!
I just got to see the finished product last night and my little 8-year-old granddaughter loved showing off 3 of the lanterns. Very colorful and fun.
