Rillpac Replacement EAC64CL 64 -Inch Detachable Earphone Cable for Shure SE215, SE315, SE425 SE535 and SE846 Earphones & fit for UE900, W40, etc (Clear)

Cannot tell the difference between these and the OE. I wear my 215s ALL THE TIME. At the gym and at gigs so I go through cables every few years.

This is a good quality, longer cable from Rillpac for my Shure SE315 earbuds. I’ve kept these earbuds working for a long time by replacing the cable every few years, and this one from Rillpac is the closest match to the OEM cable I’ve found. Like the original, this cable has a ~3 inch length of stiffening wire at the ear, which helps maintain the curve to dress the wire securely up and then behind the ear. The MMCX connectors at each earbud push in securely, with a satisfying "click" when fully seated. The 3.5mm connection is angled, which I prefer as it reduces bulk and potential strain on the headphone jack.The only minor issue is that the molding of the jack for my cable isn’t a perfect 90-degree angle, but it’s close enough. What I really appreciate about this cable is the ~ 5 ft length. Many aftermarket cables are too short and the length is essential when you train the wire behind your ear, down your back, and still need enough slack to keep your phone or playback device in your pocket.I think this cable is a great value as it was marked at half the cost of an official Shure cable. It’s a great way to refresh my old earbuds, even though fewer and fewer cellphones use 3.5mm plugs these days (which is a whole other issue).
