An excellent addition to the ever-growing body of work that is queer temporality! Freeman's articulation of chrononormativity, chronobiopolitics, and erotohistoriography offer extremely helpful and useful frames for thinking time queerly, and her close textual analysis offers strong grounding and support for her argument!

I'm sorry but at a certain point textual play becomes simply that and nothing more. Perhaps examining a random line in an obscure film for thirty pages is interesting to some but Elizabeth Freeman needs to remember that the "text" is within a "context" and you can't just assert bizarre, pointless arguments for no real resistant or critical reason.
