I've used these now for walking in snow over wellies and on icey pavements over walking boots and they worked brilliantly with both, they didn't slip off or move at all which I was super pleased with and I felt so much more secure walking. I'm a professional dog walker so I have walked with them on for long periods of time, they are more comfortable walking in snow compared to icey pavements but I would definitely recommend for both weather conditions, I wouldn't be without them now.

Easy to get on, placement on the foot is not the best as I generally put all my weight through the ball of the foot. That said, solid quick option for thin ice. Definitely improved traction. Easy to get on and off. Handy to case to throw in back pack

Needed ice grips that were quick to get on and off, chains can be awkward to get on, I have hiking style doc martens and these fit perfectly, tried them today, it's been really bad up here with snow & ice, I felt a lot more confident wearing them, I need knee replacements so these are a godsend.

These crampons seemed like a good idea being easy to put on and adjust when not required. However, having the opportunity to try them out on the recent snowfall which turned to ice, I was soon disappointed by their performance. Even tightening the strap as much as I could did not prevent them slipping off my trainers. They felt grippy enough but just not stable to stay on my footwear. As they did not perform I therefore cannot recommend them.

Overall I’m happy with these. They were inexpensive. I like that I can turn them round quickly which was useful on a Finland trip where shops expected ice grips to be removed. They also seem robust and well made. The downside is that they don’t fit well between the heel and front sole. The indent on my wellies and walking boots is too deep so the spikes barely connect with the ice. I therefore wear them on the front of my sole which does work and makes me feel more confident on packed snow and ice. Invaluable on dog walks when my dog attempts to pull me. The only problem with wearing them there is that they sometimes come off and I’ve had to walk back to find them. The solution is to put them on tightly though they do work loose. With hindsight I wish I’d tried the ones that stretch over the whole sole.

Don't write many reviews but was so impressed with these, wore them in snow but wanted to know how they were on ice, when snow began to melt, the ice underneath was very slippery and these were very good, only one small slip but these saved me from falling. Unfortunately one of the bands was sewn incorrectly and therefore I couldn't tighten up enough for it to stop slipping off but have returned and will be buying another pair as I was so impressed with them.

These were great for me and my youngest to walk around in the icy weather. They do ride down the toes of our boots a little though so you do need to just check every now and again!
