The keyboard seems about as noisy as any other I have used. The mouse makes the usual microswitch clicks.

How do you connect the keyboard to the pc? the usb receiver is plugged in but it is still not working?

It is a wireless connexion using a single USB dongle for both keyboard & mouse. Neither keyboard nor mouse has an on/off switch, BTW, but they automatically power down if not used for a period (not specified).
