Comfortable Crisp Sounding Headphones
These headphones are perfect for outdoor sports and activities. For clarity, these are NOT bone conduction headphones, but simply project the sound/audio into your ear canal. The sound is clear and crisp while allowing you to hear background noise for safety. While walking my dog, I was able to hear my music and audiobooks clearly as well as the birds chirping, gravel under my feet crunching, and cars approaching. When I first put them in my ears I wasn't sure how secure they would be. It's a very different feel than my in ear headphones and I wondered if they may be prone to falling out. So far, they feel very solid and secure. Actually, they are so comfortable I didn't even notice them.Of note, I've walked without a hat and with a hat and there were no issues with them being secure with my hat on. I really like these headphones and would recommend them, especially for outdoor activities where you need to hear someone approaching from behind, etcThe case is conveniently designed with the charging cable included, and the case is very narrow, so it's easy to slip into a pocket. In summary, I'm very pleased with these headphones and I'm sure you will be too!

hear your surroundings and your music
The sound on these was quite good. The bass punched better than I expected and a speaker's voice in an audiobook was pretty rich sounding. This kind of earpiece lets you hear what is going on around you as well so that can either be good or bad depending on whether you want safety by being aware of your environment or want isolation and noise reduction. The case is very nice and better than most I have seen. I have another brand of these that is the same style and these are a little bigger / heavier so hoping they have a longer battery life. But both myself and my 15 yr old noted that after about an hour they are not very comfortable to have on the ear. Even though there is nothing to pinch, it felt like my ear was being pinched after a while.

Beautiful Wireless Headphones But DEFINITELY Not For Everyone!
Cleer is known to make excellent headphones. These headphones, which appear to be a possibly modified version of their 2022 first generation headphones, may well be excellent but you need to know what you're getting.First off, with open ear headphones, you need to remember that there is no noise cancellation at all; no active, no passive. This means you are going to hear everything around you. Certainly this is useful in certain environments, but, living in New York City, I find it challenging to find a place where they seem appropriate. The noise of the streets, the subway, the city in general, mean that you'll miss whole pages in audiobooks, and verses or choruses in music selections. These are just not headphones for an urban environment.Similarly, because they are open ear, they leak sound like a sieve; everyone around you will know exactly what you are listening to.A third major issues is the charging case. The case has a fixed, USB-A very thin cable, about 11 inches long. I am absolutely certain that at some point I am going to grab a connected case and rip that cable right out. At this point, I have no way to charge the headphones, and there's no way I can substitute my own cable. There's no indication on the cleeraudio.com website that a case can be purchased separately.Battery life is an issue, since the charging case does not contain a battery. Your headphones only charge when the case is plugged into a charger. This means that the total time available is 7 hours. The listing indicates that with the charging case, you get 18 hours, but this is not true, as the website makes clear. If the charging case had a battery, that might be true, but with this model, you use it for up to 7 hours, then charge for two hours and start the process again. Hopefully someone will correct the listing, because this is very misleading.Perhaps if you are unable to wear wireless earbuds, don't care about listening time, live in a quiet rural area, are willing to take the risk that the charging case can't be replaced, and don't mind having to be near an USB charger in order for the headphones to be charged, these might be for you. Otherwise, you should pass. They are, indeed, beautiful headphones, and I suspect that if you're willing to pay considerably more money, Cleer offers some great headphones that might work better.

Good option when wanting to hear outside sounds
These 'Cleer ARC Open Ear Headphones' are a good option for people like me who don't like the bone conduction headphones. These headphones fit better, just sitting on top of my ears, allowing me to hear my spouse when they talk to me, without pausing the headphones. The sound quality has good clarity for my purposes.

Excellent
Not at all bad. I like to listen to music while walking around my city, but I find that with regular headphones that block out environmental noise I become very aware of my own breathing and start to feel anxious. These open ear headphones avoid that problem by allowing in sounds from outside, so I don't get stuck in my own head. They're not for everyone, and I'm sure lots of people would be annoyed by traffic noise while listening to music, but they're perfect for me.The sound quality is pretty great. It's clean and crisp, with a fair bit of bass. I find it's perfect for listening to spoken word, which can be tricky for me as I'm hard of hearing and voices can become muddy and hard to decipher. If they work well with my ruined ears I'm sure you'll be happy with them.
