This is my 2nd harness. I purchased the first one 4 years ago. I take my labradoodle for a 2 mile walk every day rain, shine or snow. It had seen everything and held up well. It was just starting to look faded. My son joined the navy, I wanted to honor him with a blue harness with navy patches. This harness is well made and very easy to put on and remove. So many harnesses require you to insert the dogs legs one at a time to put on, not this harness. Simply slip over the dogs head and snap one clip under him and your done. The dog in the picture is a 55 pound labradoodle and the medium size fits him perfectly (it was actually too big but has several adjustments). I also purchased the "Flexi New Classic Retractable 26 feet flexi tape leash" and "U.S Navy Patch, Marine Corps Military Tactical Morale Badge Embroidered Patches" and was impressed with those also. I highly recommend this harness.

We recently adopted a German Shepherd named Bear and wanted a harness for him. Originally I looked at this harness because of the poop bag holder and reflective tape. We tend to walk at night so the reflective tape was great and I’ve always told my minature dachshund that she needed to carry her own poop bags because she always pooped in the worst of places. The glow in the dark patches, handle and extra clip were a bonus! This harness is the best I can’t pick what I like best about it because we definitely want to be safe at night and the glow in the dark and reflective tape are great, the poop bag dispenses without any problem and we don’t have to worry about forgetting them because Bear has us covered, the handle is so nice for that extra control when crossing the street or when he sees other dogs, and the extra side clip is great for our collapsible bowls for them. I can’t wait till it warms up a little and we can take him exploring and to the lake in this harness! It’s such great quality, he loves to pull, pull, pull and this harness is holding up great not a sign of weakness anywhere. We love this harness and so does Bear! He gets so excited when he sees it and puts his head right through it to put it on because he knows it’s time for a walk or car ride. When we adopted Bear he was severely underweight at 70 pounds, his chest girth was 34 inches, we bought the large and tightened it almost all the way for both the neck and chest strap, true to sizing, fits perfectly! Absolutely the best harness in my opinion I wouldn’t buy anything else, what more could you need. You go Paw Five! Keep being pAwesome!

We have tried so many different harnesses and collars that say they're no-pull for our two German Shorthaired Pointers, who are both hard pullers. My husband usually had to walk the boy because he was just too strong for me, while I walked our girl. But then I had three neck surgeries in the last three years and just wasn't able to walk her either any more because the pulling hurt my neck so much. Our boy is older and can't walk as much anymore, but I missed walking with our girl, and a friend suggested this harness. It's been a life saver for us from the minute we tried it on her. It's super easy to put on, very secure and she hasn't pulled at all with it on. She seems perfectly happy now just to trot alongside me. It has a short handle that i can use to keep her right next to me if needed. We did get our boy the harness (in red) for when we have to take him to the vet's office so I could handle him on my own, and it works just as well with him. And he's a very focused, hard puller - he sees the truck and would drag me off my feet. With this harness, I have had no trouble keeping him back. We love the harness so much, that we just got the Paw Five SWIFT-2 leash for our girl and we love it, too! Very comfortable to hold and sturdy!

I ordered a size small for my 30-lb Lab-Pitbull mix puppy and she was swimming in it. Tried it on the 45-lb Pitbull mix and it fit her well. Yes, you read that right, the small fits a medium-sized dog better than the smaller dog. The front strap is a little too long for my liking, but we manage. Gelati loves putting on her harness because she knows we're going on a long walk "to see the piggies" at a nearby farm.The glow-in-the-dark patches that come with the harness actually glow, and the reflective strip across the front is reflective.It's lightweight and not too bulky - good for warm weather walkies!The poop bag holder is a bit of a design fail - I have to release the velcro closure in order to unroll the bags, then secure the velcro back in place once I tear the bag off. Not a deal breaker though since my dog patiently sits and waits for me to complete this task.I am deducting one star because of the patches - the patch itself is larger than the velcro surface so the short edge tends to curl up. It does brush against my leg when my dog walks too close to my side, and it's an unpleasant experience on bare skin.Please note that if your dog is prone to panic and backs up quickly to get away from something, they will back right out of this harness. If this describes your pet, you are better off with a harness that you can clip to a collar for extra security.Overall, a great harness that's easy to get on and off. Photo included for reference :)

I love this harness and my Husky does too! With this harness you don't have to worry about the straps going under your dog's arms. The front strap goes around their chest and I know it's much nore comfortable for him than his previous harness. It's much easier to put on him every morning and he can't slip out of it! I love it has a handle! If you need a little extra help to pull your dog, the handle is so helpful! I weigh 110 lbs and my Husky weighs 65 lbs. He is a Husky so he can PULL, if he wants to. The handle is a lifesaver when I'm walking him and he sees a wild animal and wants or tries to go after it. The patches on both sides, from the photos that I posted with his name Jaxx on them, were purchased separately and customized. The patches that come with the harness say, Pawfive. The harness has reflective stiching and you can see it in the dark. It's a great harness for a really great price! I definitely recommend it!

My mother purchased two then I purchased mine. I highly recommend this harness, both straps are adjustable. My boy is an American bulldog, 140lbs he's heavy in the chest area, makes it difficult to find the right fit. This product made it easy, XL fits him very well and can easily adjust to bigger/smaller if needed. He seems comfortable. He even holds his own waste bags and water bottle. Amazing hand grip to keep him next to me when needed also. Don't hesitate. Buy it!

I love this harness!! My dog loves this harness!! It seems to be built very sturdy. My Golden Retriever measured 33” girth so I went with the large. After trying it on her I should have gone with the medium. Even tightened as much as it would go it was still able to move too easily. My wife is good with the sewing machine so she made a couple of adjustments and now fits perfect. This is no fault of Paw Five but rather my own error. I am thinking of getting the matching leash as well now. Great product!!!

When your canine buddy doesn't resist a harness it is, I suppose, a success. The harness is attractive and sturdy. It slips over the neck easily and snaps into place quickly. The velcro makes it simple to adjust across the chest and the strap underneath where it snaps together can be adjusted for length as well. The handle is strong and is a decent size making the grip easy and comfortable. My only reservation is that I just can't seem to get it to stay centred without making it too tight for our dog. As he pulls a little strongly one way or the other the harness twists out of centre but I use the handle or the leash to twist it back to centre. The waste bag dispenser is a nice touch but it is not the easiest or most comfortable to use. At least it isn't dangling and it is barely noticeable. The leash is attached to a large ring on the back of the harness. Ours is a large dog and it is harder to control him with this system than it would be for a collar attachment. It takes some getting used to but the dog seems to like it. If you have a dog that is large, strong and difficult to correct this may not be a suitable option. It definitely is comfortable for the dog. After a few months I have noticed some fraying of the material around the velcro chest strap but nothing that compromises the integrity of harness. If walking your dog when it is dark, the neon reflective color material is a necessary safety feature, especially for darker dogs. Overall, a good product for the price and a attractive, comfortable harness.

Great product, my dog tells me it is very comfortable. You can put it on and take it off with one hand easily.

Easy to put on, take off and adjust. My girl is an Alaskan Malamute and weighs 120lbs. I bought the XL and it fits her very well because I can easily adjust to bigger/smaller under her belly when needed. She is a double coated breed and is fluffier before she sheds vs after. The strap across the chest works better when it is not made smaller or bigger but left at the size it is. Therefore I found it better to order the XL because I think the size Large across the chest strap might have been too tight. She seems comfortable and I feel she walks better with the harness vs having the leash on a collar. I feel better that she's not being choked when she pulls on the leash. I also love the fact that the letters PAW FIVE on both sides are reflective. Having the waste bags on the harness is also a bonus.
